ARCEUS PLATES

When you attach a plate to Arceus, it will take on the type of that plate. This also changes what type the move Judgment is. Thus, when Arceus uses Judgment, it will always get Same-Type Attack Bonus. In addition, the plates work like other type-boosting items and will provide a 20% boost to all moves of the same type as the plate. Because of this, any move of the same type, including Judgment, will deal 1.8 times the normal damage, assuming no other factors are in play.

Below are the 16 plates found in game, their locations, and the form of Arceus that results. Note that when Arceus does not carry a plate, it is of the Normal type (as is Judgment), and that there is no plate for obtaining the ??? (Unknown) type.
