POKEMON PLATINUM
Pokemon Platinum is the third game of the fourth generation, complimenting Diamond and Pearl. The story focuses on Giratina, who appears here in a new "Origin Forme". Other changes include new outfits for the protagonists. There have also been reports of Wifi Support for Underground. The game is slated for a September 13th, 2008 release in Japan, and expected to reach English-speaking countries in 2009.

Several of the gyms have been reworked to include new challenges - darkness, boxing rings, and a moving flower clock, just to name a few!
Several new characters have been introduced, including a possible double-agent in Team Galactic
Battle up to seven trainers in a row in the new Battle Frontier's Battle Tower to gain some BP
In the Battle Frontier's Battle Factory, you can rent three Pokemon to battle with, like in Pokemon Stadium
You can send emails via GTS
A total of three minigames are included in the new GTS Station
Three more unconfirmed areas in the Battle Frontier to explore
Cyrus is present at the beginning of the game
