Just a brief update for today. It's finals season which means that many members of the staff, myself included, are swamped with projects and exams. However, I've still had a few minutes to put together another new video of some HeartGold gameplay. Another Rival battle! That Mareep I picked up not too long ago sure came in handy. If you haven't done...
This is just a quick update to let you all know that we are aware of the downtime and site issues that you've all been experiencing. The new server still has a few bugs that need to be ironed out. Hopefully the downtime itself is over. However, as of right now the site itself isn't fully functional. Many pieces of the Psydex are still offline, but we...
More Changes for Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum[Expand]
Posted by Jigglypuff on 30 Sep 2009 at 10:19am PDT
Unfortunately, the surprise I mentioned last update has been delayed due to some unforeseen issues on my end. But, I do bring good news related to another previous update. Since there's currently a Shaymin Event running for everyone playing Pokemon Platinum, we've compiled a page to document WiFi Events in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. This page...
Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, and Mystery Dungeon News[Expand]
Posted by Jigglypuff on 24 Sep 2009 at 7:35am PDT
First up, a bit of news for Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. If you missed out on your chance to receive a Shaymin at the last event, you're in luck. Starting on September 28th, through November 8th, there will be a WiFi giveaway. Full details can, as usual, be found on the official Pokemon Platinum site. I've summarized them for you here. 1. Make sure...
I've been fiddling around with the site again, changing some stuff on the backend. I've worked out a few more odd little bugs that seemed to have arisen due to the integration of all the Platinum data. I'm pretty sure I got them all this time, though the compromise is a bit silly. In the DP Walkthrough and World Map, you'll occasionally notice a Wild...
I suppose I should make an official statement that we have, in fact, not died, huh? The site is alive and well, I assure you. I'd like to start by reminding you to check out not only the full Diamond and Pearl Section, but also the Platinum Section. Most of note, of course, is the Full Platinum Walkthrough, which has been quite popular since it was...
So DatVu insists that despite being tired, I should give you all an update before I go to bed. First off, Frost has been busy again. He's gone and updated all the Episode Titles in the Anime section. It's interesting to see how many official titles have typos in them, actually. As for me, I've been tweaking the layout of the DP Walkthrough to flow...
EDIT (16 Jun): New Screenshots added! And on the heels of last night's update, I got to working on so much more. First, as noted in an edit at the very end of yesterday's update, there are now more pictures on the Platinum page, including several screenshots and artwork for the new designs of both the male and female leads and the rival. Much thanks...
No major updates or additions to report at this time. I have, however, been spending the past several days working on all sorts of little things around the site. I've mostly been going over old bug reports that got filed away to be "dealt with later" and, well, dealing with them. It hasn't been anything major, just a lot of little things here and there....
I hope everyone's enjoyed their St. Patty's day. That's not the only special occasion for today though. One year ago today, the Lite Four and myself were appointed webmasters. It's been quite a trip. To celebrate, I've got some new pages for you. Those of you more familiar with Diamond and Pearl will know about the Battle Tower. We've compiled a list...
Well, at least for our friends down south of the equator. January 12, 2008 is the 40th birthday of Junichi Masuda, the man behind the music of Pokemon. He invites all of you to play Diamond and Pearl on his birthday, and if you've been good (haven't been messing with your clock), you might just find a surprise waiting for you at Snowpoint. In other...
Getting back into the swing of things for the year, I've got another handy little guide for you. The Poffin Guide includes everything you need to know about Poffin making in your solo escapades. But what if you're working together with friends? Well, that's what the Poffin Calculator is for, of course! The guide is meant to be comprehensive yet simple,...
Over this winter break, we've noticed that we've been getting more hits again. That's good. They're still not as impressive as they are in the summer, but better than the lull we've been going through as of late. However, it seems that over the past few days someone's been trying to DDoS us. You may have noticed the site slowed down and died for a couple...
I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year's festivities. With a new year comes new content: The Move Tutors Guide covers in detail the aspects of the move remembering/deleting/tutoring individuals in the game. The Interactive Sinnoh World Map does just what it says on the tin. It's a fully interactive map of the region, including Pokemon data for cities...
There lies an update. I was bored at work today, so I decided to work on the site. The PickUp List now properly switches between versions. Added a note about fossils to the DP Capture Methods Guide. More to come as I have time.

Hello again. Sorry for the lack of updates; I've been busy with school work. Now that I have a little room to breathe again, I have a few pages for you. First, sN0w's finished another Mystery Dungeon guide, the Tactics Guide. In addition to that, he's also thrown together a basic info page for Pokemon Stadium. I went and made a slightly more standard...
As I settle in for college life, I figure I should be finding more time for site work again, and that calls for a new song to get update titles from, since I'm too lazy to think of anything even remotely relevant. Recent fixes to the site include: The DP Characteristics were reformatted. The PsyDex DVs/IVs page was finally updated to call them IVs....
So, what have I been doing in all this silence? Well, I fixed a few little errors around the site, and I added a DP FAQ's page because I've been meaning to do that for a long time. I'm going to fix up the DP main page at some point too. Oh, by the way, this page you're looking at right now, index.php just logged it's TEN MILLIONTH HIT before I posted...
You know, I'm not entirely sure why I've only just made guides for these now, but since I had the day off, and because Frost pointed out that I hadn't made anything for them yet, I've added a guide to Characteristics and Completing the Sinnoh Dex for DP. I might try to get some more stuff done today too. Also, you'll notice that the Capture Guide is...
Despite my lack of creativity, I have managed to be somewhat productive. I got sN0wBaLL's latest Dungeon Guide, The Gummi Dex posted. In addition to that, thanks to tiger10x, we've got a start to a Pokemon Battle Revolution section now. A few people from the chats have also volunteered to help expand this section, so expect more soon. Myself, I'm...

Hello again. I've been taking advantage of my day off to do some various things around the site; mostly cleaning up the forums and such, as they were getting rather slow. They should continue to improve over the next several days. As far as the main site goes, I've reworked the DP Capture Guide a little bit. I've expanded info on the Pal Park section...
At the original time of this posting, the only updates to report are that the DP Items Page now has pictures, and the last of the footprints have been added to the PsyDex. Much thanks to Eevee from veekun for providing these pictures for us. Tomorrow is my day off, and I plan to spend the bulk of it coding. Watch this update for edits throughout the...
Randomly Returning Out of Absolutely Nowhere[Expand]
Posted by Jigglypuff on 13 Jul 2007 at 4:45pm PDT
Well, I'm back from my vacation, but this update will just be a little one. I said I'd have something when I got back, but I'm afraid all I've had time to do is make a basic Items List for Pearl and Diamond; think of it as a Beta Version with a Final Release version on the way. In addition, the damage calculator is still being reworked; I hope to get...
Hello again everyone. This update is to let you know that we've undergone a major change on the site. Before I get to that, though, notice that the Insertions table of the Capture Guide is looking a little neater. I don't think there's much else we can really do to compact it anymore without making more of a mess. That's not the big news, however. ...
And now, hot on the heels of the EV Training Table Guide from the other day, I'm proud to present to you the New Capture Methods Guide! This little guide is an ideal quick go-to guide for all the new ways to capture Pokemon in Diamond and Pearl. It covers Great Marsh Binoculars, Honey Trees, Insertion (that table will get cleaned up nicely in a few...
Hello again. Having finally picked up a copy of Diamond myself the other day, I've been able to think of a few more guides we need for DP. Expect a Swarm Guide, a Honey Tree Guide, an Insertion Guide, and a Catch Substitutions Guide sometime in the next few days. For tonight, though, I present you with a nifty little idea I thought up after starting...

Hello again. More various changes around the site. EVs awarded were redone because some of those changed in PD, the Psydex Search has been fixed (again) and hopefully is fixed for good this time (drop us an email if something's still wrong), there's a handy dropdown menu in the Psydex that will show you all the other Pokemon that can have the same ability,...
So, those of you who were at trivia tonight may have noticed that I was (once again) absent. In truth, I was working on the site at the time. There's some various fixes all over the place; mostly little things. Also, I've drawn up a Diamond and Pearl Pok?tch Guide for all of you to use. It's got all the Pok?tch info you should need. More guides are...
Hello again everyone. We've all been busy since the last update. There are numerous Diamond and Pearl Guides still in the works, including the full extensive walkthrough. Today's update, however, is for Mystery Dungeon. sN0wBaLL has completed another set of guides for us: 4th Generation Pokemon Cameos, an IQ Guide, and a Legendary Pokemon Guide. ...
WTF Frost maeks update?!!? So here's all the new Diamond/Pearl stuff we've added recently: -Gym Leader and Elite Four Guide, done by me -Legendary Pokemon Guide, done by FireStarter and tiger10x -TMs and HMs Guide done by FireStarter and skullkid -New Sinnoh mini-icons are being added to the Psydex pages as our forums members compete to create them....
I can't tell you how many emails we get every day about people distraught that the site hasn't been updated in 7 days, 3 hours, 42 minutes, and 11 seconds. It's crazy. Those of you who've been here more than once know that just because nothing gets posted here doesn't mean nothing's happening in the background; thank you for your patience. The astute...
After hours of extremely tedious labor, I bring you...Sugimori art for Sinnoh generation Pokemon! Every Pokemon from Turtwig to Manaphy has been added to the Picdex. Enjoy! p.s. Jiggz: I've known how to make an update. I just haven't done anything productive enough to warrant making one. :D

Nintendo have finally confirmed the release date for Diamond and Pearl after mistakenly leaking it a bit early. The date is indeed April 22nd, 2007 so mark that date in your calendars. Check the official site for further information.

Edit: Pokemon.com have mysteriously pulled the release date of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl from their site. Here is the old announcement text for your interest. Note that the old release date, April 22, 2007 will remain unconfirmed at this stage. Pokemon.com have revealed (a while ago, actually) the release date for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl in the US...

So I found the location data for the Diamond/Pearl Pokemon, and from that I'm slowly constructing percentages and sorting out funny things like Fishing and Surfing, and I still don't really know what data corresponds to what area... but as you can deduce from the title of this update, I've put up the Version Exclusives for Diamond and Pearl. Oh and...
