Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, and Mystery Dungeon News [permalink]

First up, a bit of news for Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. If you missed out on your chance to receive a Shaymin at the last event, you're in luck. Starting on September 28th, through November 8th, there will be a WiFi giveaway. Full details can, as usual, be found on the official Pokemon Platinum site. I've summarized them for you here. 1. Make sure you've defeated the Champion and obtained the National Dex 2. Make sure you've activated the WiFi Mystery Gift at Jubilife TV station (answer "Everyone happy" and "WiFi Connection" when you talk to the Producer on the third floor). 3. When you start your game, pick Mystery Gift, then Receive Gift, and finally Via Nintendo WFC. Accept Oak's Letter. Once the game starts, head to a PokeMart and receive the letter, then save your game. 4. Head to Route 224 through Victory Road and take the newly opened path 5. At the end of Route 224, meet up with Oak at the stone tablet and head off with him to the Flower Paradise to capture Shaymin! 6. To change Shaymin's Forme, place it in your party and head to Floaroma Town. There, you will receive the Gracidea Flower. 7. To change back to Land Forme, either wait for nightfall, allow Shaymin to be frozen in battle, or deposit it into your PC. You can reuse the Gracidea Flower as many times as you'd like. For our Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fans, more good news for you! A new game, Explorers of Sky, has been announced. You can find all the details at the official site. It releases in the US on October 12th. Most importantly, Wigglytuff plays a prominent role in this game, and I think we can all agree that this can only be a good thing.

That's all good, but don't forget to update the Platinum Legendaries page with the new info. It hasn't even been updated with the Member's Card yet.

I cannot seriously be the only person who hates Wigglytuff (and the rest of the PMD2 cast). I hope that they have included the Platinum tutor moves in EoS. That will be a plus. Then so many Pokemon will get the epicness that is Heat Wave.

The news info needs to be updated since the Mystery Gift is not available for Diamond or Pearl. That fact is starting to tick me off too (as it should anyone with just Diamond or Pearl).

Yay, I got my Shaymin :) I didn't know Shaymin's Sky Forme had a different cry - but apparently it does.
