Works of Literature
I enjoy the Harry Potter series (read 'em each once), the Imponderables series (question-answer format, very interesting), and I follow the story/antics of MegaTokyo as well. And, of course, the 5-part Hitchhiker's Trilogy is the best series ever. ;P
TV Shows
I'm a SciFi fan; Stargate SG-1 (especially before RDA left), Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Heroes, Eureka, Lost; good stuff. I don't care for "reality TV" much.
Anime
I'm obsessed. The Kin of the Stars series was my first, and I love it. Besides that, I really liked Last Exile, Eureka Seven, Read or Die, Azumanga Daioh, FLCL, and of course The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Hidden Talents
I can play the piano fairly well, I'm teaching myself to play the guitar, and I can solve a Rubik's Cube in two to four minutes. I'm also an amateur magician, and know a few simple tricks, some of which can be quite profitable.
I lieu of a serious, thought-provoking blog, I now offer you this sage bit of wisdom I've picked up in my time here at college, which I was reminded of again today.
Approximately every seven to ten days, any given male living on campus will have to make a very important decision; do laundry today, or go commando tomorrow. To any guys looking at heading off to college soon, be prepared to make such a decision.
To any girls on a campus, or planning to go to one soon, keep that in mind. Assuming every 10 days the cycle hits, you have a 10% chance of hitting the vital day, and there's a 50-50 shot either way. In theory, every 20th guy you talk to on campus each day has opted to go commando.
Just a little college wisdom to brighten your lives. ^_^
