Lati@s can be used, it's just that Soul Dew won't do anything as a held item. I'm also not sure about Manaphy, being that I've never used one, but I think it's banned as well; not sure.
Manaphy is banned, as is Jirachi and Celebi. I'm almost sure that Shaymin is banned as well.

Positive accuracy boosts and negative evasion boosts increases the chance of a move hitting, and vice versa.

Absolutely anything else is allowed. So thats basically the legendary birds, dogs, Lati@s', PD Psychic trio, Regis, Heatran and Cresselia. (Which I still don't get why you allow Cresselia but not Darkrai since it seem to be based on themes and well as stats... oh well.)
Oh, and I have a quick question, myself. For the life of my I can't seem to find the Life Orb. I've looked it up several times with online FAQ's, walkthroughs, etc. And the best I get is: "Below the cave at Stark Mountain". I've looked nigh everywhere, and I don't know where the heck that is supposed to be. Thanks!

I have yet more questions!
1. What happens if you release Cresselia when you still haven't caught Mesprit?
2. Say I switch in Regigigas 5 turns into a battle, does that count as Regigigas' 'Slow Start'?
and finally,
3. Does Regigigas' 'Slow Start' count as stat reduction?

1. They both fly around in different routes. You can't tell which one is which on the marking map though.
2. Nope, the effects of Slow Start begin when Regigigas comes into play.
3. No, I don't think it does unless it has the animation like Intimidate.

I consider Giratina the 'opposite side' of the mystical Dialga and Palkia, being born when the world was first created. Basically the anti-existence to all the other pokemon.

Probably works like a Burn - not a negative stat boost, just a separate modifier.
To test it, though, you could have it in a double battle and see how many Charm's it takes until its attack can't be lowered further.

I have a problem. I've recently started to have a go at chaining Pokemon to try and get a shiny Pokemon, but the problem is I can never get past 8 Pokemon before something breaks my chain. Got any ideas?

The Chaining for Shinies thread, further down in the Sinnoh forum, has lots of personal experiences and links to external resources which will be invaluable.

Does PP Up increase by 20%, or 20 percentage points?
Taunt:
Original is 20
x 1.2^3 = 34 (20% per pp up, 72.8% increase)
x 1.2 x 3 = 32 (20 percentage points per pp up, a total increase of 60%)
I always thought it was the former, but Taunt on Gyara says otherwise

It increases by 20 percentage points (2nd one).

I have two questions:
1) How is the base power of Gyro Ball determined? Is it something like:
((opp speed) - (your speed))/10?
I have a Bronzong with a good Attack IV; it has Payback but someone suggested Gyro Ball for it. I'm wondering so that I could hazard a guess on how much power it would do, and then consider my options. (This isn't a team-rating question. I just want to know how Gyro Ball is calculated.)
2) I was one day browsing Bulbapedia, and for the heck of it I clicked on the Adaptability link.
It said that the Pokemon with said ability gets a 2x bonus to same-type moves, in addition to STAB. Therefore, essentially giving a 3x STAB.
Yet I had always thought that Adaptability was in place of STAB, altering it from 1.5x to 2x.
Which is correct? I'm still thinking it's 2x and not 3x, judging by the amount of damage I've seen my Porygon-Z do (it's brought a Pokemon down to red when T-Bolt normally brings it to 1/2 HP; a 3x shouldn't do that).
Any input is appreciated.

1 + (25 x Target's speed / users speed) , with a max power of 150.
Also, pretty sure STAB becomes 2 with adaptability. 2, not 3.

Thanks for clearing that up. I think I will stick with Payback; a guaranteed 100 BP with 10 PP is better than a varying BP with only 5 PP. (Plus it's Dark - more type advantages.)

Is that equation right? I been using
Base Power = 25 (Target Speed / User Speed) from serebii but what concern me is which equation is the real one because I do have a Bronzong, Forretress, and Steelix with Gyro Ball with Relaxed nature.

Those are virtually the same equations, except Psypoke has a +1 on it, presumably because a move can't have a base power of 0.
I have another question about Gyro Ball that I forgot to ask:
If I use Trick Room with Gyro Ball (preferably with Bronzong), and I go first, will the equation remain the same, and Gyro Ball will still have its high power of who-knows-what?
I'd looked at both Gyro Ball and Trick Room on the TechDex and they didn't say anything about either used together.

Because Trick Room does nothing to change the Speeds of the Pokemon, onyl allows slower Pokemon to move first, I would venture a guess and say that Gyro Ball still does whatever damage it would have done without Trick Room. Logically, it makes sense.

Trick Room simply has no effect on Gyro Ball. I use Trick Room on Bronzong against a Mamoswine and on next turn it either 1hko or barely survive it. Pretty much a slow pokemon with Gyro Ball is Trick Room's friend.

Check its STAT's and see if they are legit. Thats the only way if its a normal pokemon who's been hacked on its STAT's. There's a way to see if legendary's are legit but i lost the link.

There are several ways to tell:
-Outrageously high stats, e.g. 255 EVs on every stat, etc.
-An ability it could never have (Wonder Guard Spiritomb, of course)
-A moveset it could never have (Hyper Beam on Magikarp, for example)
-If a legendary, check the level at which it was met
-If anything, check the location at which it was met
-Caught in a Cherish Ball (exception: actual Nintendo events)
-Check the OT of the trainer (if it's 00000, it's a big giveaway)
-Shininess (note, this is not always a determining factor. If the guy has a whole team of shinies, or has boxes full of them, they're probably hacked. But again, it can't be completely confirmed.)
There are a few other methods, but the ones I listed are the more obvious ones.

Yeah, question. Is there any easier way to get Explosion in the game corner than pressing those three buttons over and over again, till you get to the 10th bonus thingy? Because it seriously takes, like a half an hour to do that.

Trade with someone else who can clone the TM, or use the Explosion move tutor in 3rd gen.
