All the Pokemon movies so far have been based on legendaries. Do you think that they should make a movie that does not follow the

Oh, That WOULD be cool! ^_^ I saw the Gardevoir comic, a movie about a place like that would be so cool! (Even though I probably would never see it)

I think that KIDS WB have a very silly attitude towards their young audience: they seem to think that children should not be exposed to anything like love, or anything real at all. There is only one mention of real human-to-human: at the closing of POKEMON HEROES, when Ash (of course!!!!!!) gets a kiss from Bianca/ Latias. I think that this is to rare to keep me or any adult interested. There are countless other things I could mention, but I don't have the time.

Cool. We have adult Pokemon fans here.
Yeah, I remember the scene where Latias kisses Ash. I thought it was so CUTE!!!

Tha'd be nice to have a movie like that.
"Well, we ran outta legendaries. Now what?"
"I KNOW! LETS MAKE ONE THAT ISNT ABOUT LEGENDARIES! Although our 3-year old audience wont like it..."

It would be welcome to have a plot that has'nt been cliched to death, But there are something like 25 legendaries, and with each new generation of pokemon another six or so appear, it's gotten so excessive that many of them really don't seem very legendary or powerful.
They should make a more mature version of pokemon, somewhere along the lines of the colloseum games, perhaps even a bit darker. Also ash and co. should not feature, it should be an entirley new cast as the old one is begining to stagnate.

The characters are all very shallow, and frankly, many of them are irritating(stupid max). Kids watch the show and movies for the pokemon, not the human characters.
The colloseum games did not feature ash but they sold just as well as any previous game, i think, due to the fact that it was a fresh, new take on the pokemon world. That is what the movies need.

I totally agree with what everyone says. Kids WB don't seem to realise that people are gonna get bored with the plots, and many already are. I mean, sure, the 3 year olds who watch Pokemon wouldn't get a mature plot, and some crazy mother would probably write in about it, but most of us would find it much more enjoyable. Kids WB would probably sell more merchandise too, if they expanded for a wider audience.

Lets make one where a ravid Blaziken (most people like this) kicks Ash out of the show. And *insert cool but small Pokemon here* replaces Pikachu. PERMANENT STAGE DOUBLES!
The GAMES have more character and they dont even talk! My opinion has spoken.

That's so true. But, admittedly, if the Pokemon movies had the whole cliched "Main character falls in love, loses lover, saves lover, saves world" thing it'd get boring as well.
I think what they should do is make a live action Pokemon movie! They were able to make Monsters Inc, the aliens in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and of course Star Wars weren't they? Pokemon should be a snap! I would love so dearly to see Gardevoir and Flareon in real life - that would rock.

I just think there should be a little variaty in the movies. But hey, we don't control KidsWB, so we haven't really got much of a say. Maybe we should trick a KidsWB official into reading through this topic! By the way, a live action pokemon movie would be SO col, neh?

I think they should have made the Groudon/Kyogre battle into a movie. It may not have been an overhyped waste of time then.

Well not to be mean but if you think about it most of the pokemon audience are kids. I mean there are almost no adult viewers and about the same amount of Teens that like pokemon ever since Yu-Gi-OH came out. Most of the time the producers do that kind of thing becuase children will think that he is like a ultimate pokemon and that gets them into buying the games looking for there idols and cards. Also that is kind of stupid how they stay around the Legendary pokemon theme, but also they will probaly keep doing that becuase the first three movies were such hits and they were all based around legendarys.
Just wanted to make my point
