was in The Johto Journeys.
The episode with was banned because of the seisures, but that doesn`t mean they shouldn`t make another episode with him.
A mod should move this into the anime section.

The episode featuring Porygon was banned. For more infomation on banned episodes, look in the main site. Here's the link: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~psypoke/anime/censor.php

Yeah, what sucks about anime here in the US is that it's censored. I'm not a fan of anime, but my brother is, and he always gets mad that he can't get the real deal.

Off Topic:
I have no idea, but imagine this: A Japenese child sitting on the couch, or whatever they sit on over there, suddenly he fall's over and hits the floor. Ouch.
On Topic:
I don't think that Marowak or Porygon2 appeared in the anime either, they probably did though... oh well...

Marowak did appear, right before Ash competed in the Kanto League (the Indigo League). Ash defeated it with Pikachu

Your brother shouldn't be very mad. Pocket Monsters is one of the least-edited Animes dubbed and aired in America. Compared to the hack jobs done to other Anime like Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece, Pokemon survives dubbing wonderfully. The most amount of editing done usually comes in the form of paint edits over kanji symbols, short skirts, wine glasses and pipes, which have little effect on the overall storyline. Anyway, I'm off topic...
Porygon2 is the only Pokemon that's never appeared in the Japanese series at all; America never got an episode with Porygon in it, save for it's appearance in the Pokeraps. I can understand the unofficial "ban" on the Porygon family. Bad memories for the Japanese fans. Outside of the Porygon line, it's very difficult to see Jynx in North America because episodes featuring her in a big role are usually skipped or her cameos are snipped out. Flaaffy made an appearance in the third movie but I think it's first apperance in the standard show was actually "Whiscash and Ash." These are the only Pokemon rarely seen on the show that I can think of.
Gardevoir, unless you've watched the Porygon episode on a television, it's not the same. The flashing lights effect is typically weakened on computers/VCR.

So now he's gonna go and watch it on a TV? It is a tiny bit funny, you must admit. A whole family of Pokemon banned because they were in an episode which caused kids to have seisures. It wasnt even the Porygon's fault!

True, it wasn't Porygon's fault (stupid Pikachu!) but 'cos the episode was named after Porygon, people associate it with the "Pory" family. So Porygon got it's appearence at least in Pok

At least be fair. Levitate didn't exist when Gengar was hit by Tauros' Earthquake. That's like getting pissed off because Gengar can get hit by Ground attacks in RBY and GSC.
I'm tired of all this 'WTF Electric attacks hit a Ground Pokemon even though Ground is immune!1!" bitc<s></s>hing. First of all, nothing says the Anime has to portray battling exactly like the video games. And thankfully the Anime DOES take liberties because watching carbon copies of Game Boy battles would be incredibly dull. I'd rather have a logically flawed battle like Taillow enduring a dozen Thunderbolts than 'Whoops, Pikachu used Thunderbolt, every opponent dropped dead.'
Secondly, what is so "Ground"-ish about Rhydon or Marowak that should make them immune to electricity? Neither of them are actually IN the ground like Diglett/Dugtrio are. Bone isn't immune to electricity, and neither is stone (which, for all you purists, is backed up by the video games, as pure Rock Pokemon can be hit by elecitricity). If Ash and the other humans are able to get electrocuted, so should Ground-type Pokemon that have nothing to do with the ground.

He's Right.
Why Make Gengar With Levitate If Its Half Poison. To Take One of His Main Weaknesses? Plus Why Do Baltoy Get To Levitate When They ALWAYS Touch The Ground?!

Lol, once a Pidgeot took out a Rhydon with Wing Attack. Man I was on the floor on that.
On Topic: Porygon, however boring it is In game it may be very intersting in the Anime. Thus they are banning it. Stupid pokemon channel.

porygons had 3 shots, the banned one, 4Ever, and Heroes. Marowak was in the theme song for the good ones, wasn't he? And don't blame the Pokemon Channel, blame the Japanes government! They won't even let the show makers take out the explosio bit.
