Everyone knows that there is one 0bber pokemon in each region. This is where we will decide which of the three mosters takes home the grand prize of being the region champion.
NOTE: please put effort into your post and give a reason why you voted.
Representing The Kanto Region
Representing The Jhoto Region
Representing The Hoenn Region
I am a rock type trainer and with a little mix of Dark tyranitar reins supreme.
My Vote
~~~~~
Tyraitar
My Tyranitar
~~~~~~~~
Lv100 @leftovers
Nature: Adamnant
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Arial Ace/HP fighting/Pyschic
- Toxic/Substitute
Toxic helps sink in more damage every turn, since sandstorm is already a major factor while Ty is on the feild. I use Hidden Power Fighting for other dark pokemon or Psychic for them measly ghost pokemon. You can also ditch the Hidden power and use substitute and let leftovers take control. Use a baton passer to boost Ty's attack. I recomend semargel with this moveset.
{smergel} lv100 @leftovers
Nature: ????
- Thunder Wave
- Mean Look
- Baton Pass
- Sword Dance
Use Sword Dance untill its time to Pass, then give the pokemon a mean look/thunder wave then Ty should be set up for the rest of the match.
This is why Tyranitar PWNS.

I voted for . Steel is my 2nd favorite type, and metagross is my 3rd favorite poke. It is a great match for as both pokemon are evenly balanced. Steel>Rock-----Dark>Psychic. I just think metagross is a monster. While t-tar is more like a beast.

I'll be the first to vote for Dragonite then. Dragon types are my second favourite type, after Water after all, so I'm rooting for Dragonite. While Metagross has a strong type combination (Psychic/Steel), and Tyranitar can do a lot of damage with its great stats and constant Sandstorm, Dragonite is no slouch either. He has incredible attack and his other stats are above average as well, making him a great physical sweeper. Plus, his movepool is wide enough for him to become a special sweeper as well, so he's got great versatility.

I just love Who could not love a giant metal spider the size of the room i am sitting in? (Big spider, not small room) He is powerful, cool looking, scary, and is one of the few to have an awesome Shiny coloring! all the way!

Please post a more valid reason. Anyway, Tyranitar is the best Dragon Dancer/CBer I know, plus combined with high attack, it becomes one incredible 00ber. Plus, Johto is my favorite region.

My vote is for . He is just totally scary-looking!! For intimidation factor, no one can beat Metagross. He scary.
also has a diverse set of moves for any situation. He learns the best Psychic and Steel moves at level-up and he can have a wide variety of good TM's to fill in the gaps. (My ONLY beef with his moves is that he can't get Calm Mind. But he still pwns.) Since he gets a wide variety of moves, he can fill different roles. Metagross is versatile.
And also - CLEAR BODY!! Hello!?! Clear Freakin' Body!! Clear body is an awesome ability! Intimidate? Sit down. Screech? No thanks. Clear Body rocks. Inner Focus is okay because moves like Rock Slide are OU, and Tyranitar's built-in Sandstorm has its moments, but Clear Body is better because so many moves try to lower your stats.
Also, has the fewest vulnerabilities. Tyranitar is vulerable to THREE TIMES more types than Metagross! And Dragonite? With that 4x vulnerability to Ice? Ice Beam, game over, thanks for playing. Metagross is tough.

Yeah, what he said ^_^
I like Steel types! And I admit to being swayed by regional loyalty, and the fact that he's just cool lookin'
Tyranitar can't use Toxic on Metagross because he's a steel type. Sandstorm won't help either for the same reason.
I know we're not talking about just head-to-head, but I'd still go with Metagross. His typing's better, I like his movepool best, and while his special stats are not quite as high as the rest they're certainly not bad. Plus he has awesome defense which could go even higher with Iron Defense, or you can have Agility just to make sure he's faster. Granted, he's weak to Earthquake. But so is Tyranitar, and Metagross' defense is better. (I guess Dragonite's got them both there. But if we're talking about weaknesses, that 4x weakness to ice would make me pretty nervous...)
Like Mightyena_17 said, Clear Body is a great ability. Tyranitar's sandstorm is easily countered (Golduck's Cloud nine, Rayquaza's Airlock, anybody that knows Sunny Day or Rain Dance...) I mean it's nice, but not as nice as Clear Body. And Inner Focus isn't that great, because most people don't rely on flinching as an integral part of their strategy. I don't use Rock Slide to cause flinching. I use it because it's a nice attack that's strong against flying types... like Dragonite.
And lots of pokemon can sweep when they're facing a paralyzed opponent after recieving a fully-charged attack BP. It's not a fair comparison if you assume he's getting help from Smeargle.
I'm not trying to flame here, I'm just trying to make a valid argument. Please don't get mad at me ^_^

Nope, I think most would agree that Metagross was the intended "00ber" in RSE, if there's such a thing. Personally, I think Salamence should be included in the poll options, even though it should not replace Metagross.

salamence, metagross, dragonite, and tyranitar all have the same stat totals, and the stats also balance out well making some more offensive and defensive and all having a very high attack.
I choose dragonite, because of my recent discovery of his dragon dancing skills.

I just want to point out that none of those pokemon are oober at all. I thought we were going to talk about like Mewtwo, Deoxys, and either Ho-oh or Lugia.
Dragonite can BoltBeamSubPunch. STAB Ice Beam is a 2hko on it w/o Evs in Sp.Def or the opponent having stat boosts. Inner Focus is a useless ability because Rock Slide is the only flinch hax move in OU play really.
Tyranitar has Sandstream which is a pretty nice slap in the face to Suicune, Blissey, Snorlax, and all other walls that aren't Rock, Ground, or Steel. Tyranitar can also Counter Skarmbliss and McGar insanely well. Sadly, it's 4x Weak to fighting and a 2x weak to Bug make Heracross a HUGE problem. Heracross is a very common pokemon too...
Metagross has beautiful typing as it resists a lot AND is only weak to Ground and Fire. However, taking those hits are near fatal each time. A fire attack from a decent Special Sweeper can 2hko Meta at most. Earthquake REALLY hurts this pokemon as nearly every physical pokemon has EQ in its moveset. HP:Fire Magneton can have a field day with this thing if it gets passed a Sub from just about anything. It has excellent STAB with Meteor Mash. The special sweeper version lacks great power to make up for the lack of speed. Psychic, Ice Punch, Thunderpunch, and Agility has type coverage like no other..unless your name is magneton and you carry an HP:Fire.
Dragonite is outclassed by Salamence in all areas except the ability to SubPunchBoltBeam. That is the only thing that Draggy can wave above Mence's head. The use of this pokemon as a special sweeper doesn't seem very...i dunno...good. Ice Beam, Flamethrower, and Thunderbolt are at its disposal however..I can't see it doing extremely well. I'd have to seriously look into it and figure it out.
DDTar and Boah are the only truely effective sets. Both can be extremely lethal if a Team can counter either.
Agiligross can sweep a near 6-0 with just Earthquake and Meteor Mash. CBGross lacks the speed that Agiligross has but makes up for that. By disregarding speed, You can Max Attack and give it some Sp.Def and Def Evs.
All and All, Tyranitar is the 2nd least versitale in terms of the OU Competitive Play. Metagross can have several variations depending on which pokemon you hate the most. Dragonite has no real versatility in the OU World AS OF WHAT I KNOW RIGHT NOW. I'll retract if I prove myself wrong through some play testing.
Tyranitar however has nothing over Metagross. They compliment each other nicely on a team however 9/10ths of the time Metagross will be used over Tyranitar because it provides excellent Normal/Flying resistance without making all of your walls slightly weaker by nulling their leftovers.
Metagross, for the win.

the reason i picked ttar is cuz i love every single DARK pokemon in the game, mayb some i dislike, but Tyranitar was the strongest uber by far, Ice Beam pwns Dargonite, and Earthquake or Crunch pwns Metagross, so i love ttar.

Dragonite can OHKO T-tar with Brick Break and Metagross can OHKO T-tar with Meteor Mash.
T-tar cannot OHKO Dragonite with Ice Beam nor OHKO Metagross with EQ. Wow. :/

Crunch?! No way. Crunch is lower power than EQ, and gross isn't even weak to Dark type.
You might KO him with EQ if you were lucky and the other trainer was an idiot. But it's not like he'd survive the first attack to use it, anyway.
