Rate it 1-10, 10 being the best, 1 the worst (like Magikarp), I voted 4, it's stats and moveset aren't too good, but it can learn Heal Bell.

Celebi is terrible as a Sweeper, which is what everyone assumes Legendaries are supposed to be. Instead, one could do this:
{celebi} @ Leftovers
Leech Seed - Ancient Power - Psych Up - Baton Pass
The strategy is pretty self-explanatory, and Heal Bell is a worthy substitute if Leech Seed doesn't trip your trigger. That's why I give Celebi a 6.

I'm not really impressed by Celebi, most of the other Legendaries could take it out so its arguably the weaker of the Legendaries.

i dont get it. its stats are pretty high (the same as mews and jirachis) and it can learn the same quality moves as those, if not better, its only real weakness would be a bug pokemon
A with Psychic, Giga Drain, Heal Bell, Toxic/Double Team/etc can be very effective. I give it 8.9 (its not my favorite pokemon)

I think Celebi was a good idea, but not well developed, since the moves it can learn can e learnt by a regular Exeggcute. If with Ho-oh and Lugia they included new exclusive moves (Sacred Fire/Aeroblast) then they should've made the same thing with Celebi.

I think is just ok too. It can't beat any other legendary but it's a legendary so I love it (see sig).

I'll give it a four, but that's beside the point. This thread is rather old - before The Champ posted, the last post was in September. Urgh, post necromancy has reared its ugly head once again.

snowball. Something's going on. A TON of old topics have shone up, like they were copied and pasted. I think this calls for an investigation.

*mmm* It's alright. I don't have one though. My friend's was pretty good. But the only reason I didn't like it in 4Ever is because it made me cry *snivel*

Out of all the legendaries, Celebi is my least favorite.
But if trained right it could be effective.
ill give it a 5.

Well, it was featured in a BPing team as it can Heal Bell and BP to continue the chain. I don't relly feel it sucks because you can pour the EVs into defense.

is ever so sweet As far as legendaries go her power isn't that good but her cuteness makes up for it. Shame it's only available in japanese versions. Why did they even take her out of the english versions in first place?
All in all i'd probably rate her at 4/10

cant you get celebi in pokemon stadium2? (i read in a guide once that if you beat the game without any reental pokemon that you can unlock celebi...) doesnt that mean you could just trade it over to your game?
would have posted this in topic "how do you get celebi" but it is locked

After a lot of hard work (and dumb luck/coincidences), I got a Celebi. What surprised me was I thought it was going to be some kinda of Omni version of Mew. Yep, houndoom definitly defeats this guy.
