Can I get a Moon Stone anywhere before the Elite Four and without the exclusive PokeWalker areas? Because I want to have a Nidoking on my first Elite Four team, and I wouldn't have trained a Nidorino if there was no way to evolve it...
Thanks in advance!

Hmm... You'd think the items guide would mention that's where you find it... Though I've noticed the set-up of the HG/SS section is different than previous sections.

Try buying it from the pokealathon stand or by getting first in a bug catching contest

Look it up on Bulbapedia if you have to. I know there are three available as items without going to see the Clefairy every Monday night at Mt. Moon.

Moon Stone is found in the second chamber on Ruins of Alph (You will have to use Flash to open the chamber).

I usually get all of my stones from the Pokeathalon. If I need an evolution stone I also get a chance to work on getting another TC Star. ;D

You can also find a moon stone in Tohjo Falls behind the two waterfalls.

You can buy stones in the athlete shop. Unfortunately, moon stones cost 3000 points on mondays, and the lowest price for any stone is 2500 points.

the easiest way: just go to the Ruins of Alph, head all the way down, surf across the water, enter the chamber on the right and inside use flash to open the room with the moon stone

So that's where you find a moon stone... I've been looking all over for one, and I wasn't about to wait for another Monday to come. Tojoh Falls, here I come! Hold on, you mean that item between the waterfalls? That's a moon stone? My brother said it was a super potion or something (*grabs brother by his hair and makes him apologize*) I'm getting that moon stone. Thanks!
