You know, I actually really like the grass monkey. I'm betting it's final evolution (if it has one) will be Grass/Fighting.

I'm not looking forward to the monkey. Mainly because I dislike most primates (Hipocritical, yes.)

It looks okay, but I feel like I want to steam it and eat it. It looks like broccoli.

...Despite that, I too am looking forward to the Grass/Fighting Broccoli-Monkey, just hope he's good in battle. My favourites so far are probably..
Pokabu Chiramii (chinchilla) Shimama (Zebra) Rankurusu (Wierd, floating jelly thing) Koromori (Bat) Kibago (Larvitar-thing) Emonga (Flying squirrel) Broccoli-Monkey

But for me personally, the monkey looks ridiculs. Origanal, but still ridiculus. That said, if it's secondadary typing is fighting, i think I could get over how it looks.

I like it and, i too, would like to eat it :] Maybe not...but its okay, and its better than the figurine! Maybe the figurine is a pre-evo...i dunno the figure has like a bush on its head, this one has a tree, its a possibility. But i love Aipom, not so much Ambipom (but i still like it) and i hope i learn to like this dude just as much[:

Dare I remind you how many dogs and humanoids we have?
What about serpents?
There's only so much they can pull from, and I think they've done a bang-up job so far.
They'll keep releasing and we'll keep learning to love if we don't love immediately.
You don't like the broccoli monkey? Fine, don't catch one. There are plenty of other Pokes out there for you.
=)
you forgot hihidurama...

No, no they wont. There are plenty of species and many sub-species to make more pokemon after. Besides, a new gen comes out only like every 4 years or so. Also, its not all animals, Sarcophagus anyone?
The series is going to be going strong for a while, all the little 2-10 year olds are crazy for it and plenty 10+ still love it, for example...basically every user on this website. Besides, the main reason there is so many pre-orders is because its a new gen, and if you ask me, 1 million isnt much...compared to the entire fanbase. For some reason you saying this has me er...baffled. I guess because its kinda obvious...

Ever? Eh, i guess thats not too surprising, pokemon is like the most known and played game ever. But its still surprising, can you even pre-order it outside of Japan yet? If not, thats sad. Only one of the many countries in the fanbase and such and its already the most reserved game for the DS ever. Very sad actually...

Me too, or maybe a pokemon based off of an Onion that happens to be Grass/Fire...with an attack called something like pepper shot...anywho...
Seeing as it has finally been confirm(man that took forever), I can now state my opinion on Yanappu...the fact that it has the ability Gluttony is interesting enough in & of itself but also there is the fact that it is actually thankfully skinnier then it appeared as a figurine & I say this because as a figurine it was looking a little on the unoriginal & linear side there for a minute but looking at the Sugimori Art has made this pokemon look way more appealing & Grass Monkey?...interesting, I like many should see where this goes eventually when more about it is revealed upon most likely game release...
& about that outstanding & unbelievable record Pokemon B&W has made...holy damn that is just too, wait wat...really? Fantastic & Epic on Epic Porportions is this ever, sadly this is the best news I've ever heard about a game on a Nintendo system in general ever, wow I mean 1 million copies pre-ordered, that alone should make anyone more able to look forward to the release of B&W in & of itself...

I couldn't tell you why, but for some time now I've fancied that an ice/fighting type would be really cool. I would personally like an ice/fighting combination, it just sounds so cool in my head.
Don't know what it would look like, but maybe it started as a fighting type, went up a snowy mountain to train and evenutally became ice type?
IDK, I like the idea though.
The game will be out in a few short weeks, so we'll know everything then.

I never thought about that, and it is really cool to think about it.

Look at teh link!http://pokebeach.com/ It has plenty of info and theorys, starting from no more Joy and Jenny to Dento possibly owning a Yanappu! Also, Mijumaru's shell comes off! And Yanappu's new move, Acrobat! There's more (but you may have to look around the page and actually read) so check it out!Well, back on topic, I like Yanappu, i might even train one! And its new move, Acrobat, Appears to be a flying type move that allows you to attack anyone on the field, even in triple battles, and its BP doubles if Yanappu isnt holding an item!
EDIT: NOT AN ADEVERTISEMENT!!!!! -_- Yeah im looking at you SerpentSounds [:
