Has any one read comics, Japanese Mangas or any kind?
I've read:
1) Magister Negi Magi Vol. 1-6
2) Pokemon Adventures/Special Vol. 1-14
3) Cardcaptor Sakura
4) PiPiPi (a.k.a Pokemon Magical Journeys) Vol. 1-7
5) Golden Boys (GSC) Vol. 1-2 (Not too sure on this)
6) Inuyasha Vol 1-32 (I know this comic is a little...disgusting)
Of the list, I like the second and first the best.

ugh... true japanese anime sickens me. I can stand Yu-gi-oh or Pokemon on TV, but comics, no thanks.

I don't read a lot of mangas. Their too expensive, but I do own a few Fushigi Yuugi mangas. One Pokemon. And the others I've read I read in the bookstore. Yay for cheapness! ^^;;

I see...I generally prefer comics over Animes because you don't have to stay at home during a certain time to watch the show. I read comics really fast, unless it's Pokemon Adventures, when I do summaries of each chapter.
And I usually borrow from comic rental stores or share comics with friends to read because there isn't much space to keep them, and they are cheaper that way too.

There's always the option of downloading mangas. Like from IRC. But that's being cheap and lazy. Don't want to pay and don't want to drive to the bookstore.
Hey! Maybe I should try that! X)

I don't think we should be discussing Downloading mangas from IRC, becuase that might be ilegal to do, and Infringe on copyright laws. I'm not saying you HAVE to stop, just the discussion and the incouragement to download it shouldn't be on the forum. I could be wrong.

I usually buy/borrow manga, not download, since we have the access to a lot of kinds of manga here, which I'm thankful for.

I read some manga now and then. Most it off the internet (cause it is translated). The only mangas I own are 4 of the Pokemon ones (I know one of them has the Jigglypuff and the little girl who find the Clefairy - your icon Purin), the 4th Shoen Jump, and a Toyko Pop Vol. 2 (that was given to me). That is it. But I read the Legend of Zelda mangas on the internet. It is only translated at two websites and there is another coming out that is based on Four Swords (a good thing too, cause the webmistresses only have one more chapter of the Oracle of Ages to translate). Now and then I see something Naruto cause my friends AIM me and it is all like 'Check this out! OMG!!1!1!'. So, lol, yeah. That's about it.

Well, you will be pleased to know that I've never downloaded anything from IRC. But I have downloaded a manga before. Kingdom Hearts from the Ansem Report site. I think there's only two sites where it's translated into 100% English.
But online mangas are good enough for me...like Megatokyo. That manga is as funny as heck.

Ack! to many Yu-Gi-oh fans hurt smy brain! X( <--- dead from yu-gi-oh fans. I just don't like it cause once the card game came out it was like Magic:the Gathering but simplified! The manga was okay, I have 1-6 but then it got boreing. I have Dnangel 1 that's cool and funny and has japanesse school girls gotta love the uniforms!

Usually the Manga comes before the Anime, and it turns into animated show when it sells a lot. And I guess because it comes to TV, great part of the manga story is cut out or modified, and that's the reason that I prefer Manga. For instance, Saint Seiya makes a lot more sense if you read the manga, and the story is far way better than in TV.
I read Shaman King, and I've read Pet Shop of Horrors when I went to Disney. I also read Shonem Jump when I travelled to USA (unfortunately, I can't find it here...).
I've heard there is a pok

Hmmm....you guys don't know what you're missing ^_^;
I've read so many manga series that it's not even funny anymore (I've been into Japanese stuff for like...10 years, and counting).
Currently I enjoy trying to find translations for the series that haven't been released in English...or if they have, I try to find out who is publishing them so, when I have the money, I can actually buy the comics in English
My bookshelf is filled with Fruits Basket, Full Metal Alchemist, Kingdom Hearts, Vegabond, Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu (Jungle Guu for short), and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle....All in Japanese mind you.
I think I need to find a translation for the Kingdom Hearts manga, I've gone through it several times, but I don't understand it at all...
(If you're wondering, I got all those in Japan when I stayed there for 10 months..)
I never read the Angelic Layer manga, but I did see the anime. It was pretty decent (I have posters for it on my walls, actually).
I quite like manga by CLAMP, who did the infamous Card Captor Sakura and Angelic Layer. They've done zillions of other titles as well though.
