How can you catch all the pokemon in the pokemon games? Its impossible I tried and went all the places

its funny the amount of times i played r/b!
i never caught all pokemon!
i the most i came to catch all pokemon in r/b is 137!!!!

I currently have 60 Pokemon on yellow version lol But when my Nintendo 64 comes in the post sometime this week im going to start trading and complete it, i have had this game since i was 9 and i still have not completed it I reckon the higher they are the hardest it is to catch them for example i had to give up my master ball to catch articuno so now im going to have to buy pointless ultra balls and use nearly half of them.

I'm surprised that you're still getting an N64 for trading for Pokemon.

As for SuperShaun, did you ever trade? I'll echo sNOwBaLL's sentiments on that one.

And from me, let me put my *somewhat-* valuable input into this. My brother and I have collaborated, so to say, on a Blue version. In that game, I have 129 captured (including Mew, most legendaries). I'm missing the Kabuto-Kabutops combination (2 off), the other two starters (which I'll be getting traded from Yellow, 6), evolved forms of Red-only Pokes (which I just traded from Red not too long ago, 5), some Stone evos (2), Clefairy/Clefable (2), Dragonair (1), Eevee Stones (2), Tauros (which extensive searching in the Safari Zone isn't helping enough yet..., 1), Omastar (1).

Obviously, I've got work to do, but with intense training, and real dedication I can complete it.

So, just train if you can, and trade if you need to. (Sorry I didn't make a real point with that mess.)

I think the only way is to have a N64 and yellow version, I tried trading my blue to red never works for me.

The great thing about Yellow is that it follows the show, rather than the game, so you can get all three starters. Between RBY, you can fully evolve all 3 starters in each game, get both fossils, Hitmon-s, and version-specific ones, therefore completing your Pokedex.

I could definitely see why, especially noting that Yellow is the only possible way to complete the Pokedex (151) in full in RBY.
