My First Sprites on Psypokes:
Click on the Pic to get a link to copy it. Just don't take credit for it.
Edit: Now it isn't blurry, forgot to save it as a PNG.
Edit2: Please Rate. I forgot to mention that before, but I thought you would do it by now. I will only send in more sprites after some people post.

Recolors: Okay....
Devamps: Okay....
Splices: Changing the clouds on the two Castforms isn't really a noticable splice. I had trouble telling if you just stuck the Sun and Rain Castforms on there under splices by mistake.
Pixel-overs: Casform looks weird and there's something about your Porygon Z. I just can't put my finger on it.

Recolours - Hard to mess up...
Devamps - Good... though the outline on the Porygon looks a bit odd where it is shaded...
Splices - Swapping the clouds is a bit... lame and the Porychu needs some colouring work.
Pixel Overs - A bit big... but some people like 'em big. The outline should be shaded too, to look like a proper sprite... and the outline in general could be drawn a bit smoother.
P.S. Next time, try to spend more time on Splices and Pixel Overs, and post each one individually...

There is something wrong about those devamps
The colours look far too bright, and they don't have enough contrast - if you look at a typical R/B sprite they use a lot of black...
The best one is the 4th row down, especially the fire one
Remember - Devamps are definitely NOT just recolours
Rotom-z - OK... the plasma bits look wierd at those angles...
Castform PO - Needs to be smoother, and don't put the outline round the eyes... Make your pixel overs about 65x65, it makes them a lot easier... small ones are especially hard
Porygon - Good! Though it still is a bit big (for my preference, maybe not anyone elses ) Don't worry about stealing the shading, though the nearest right hand side looks like it should have a bit of shadow from the head...
Pory Devamps - I like the left hand one better, though it seems to have very few colours

Do you seriously want to call those Burmys and Wormadams recolors?....
....or plain pe2k sprites?

I made a Fake Pokemon and Scratch Sprites in the Pokemon Fake Pokedex, Jack-O-Ghost.
@ psynvrn: thx and which recolor
@ Dark Scyther127: it's those circles for shininess (not shiny pkmn, shiny...shiny )
@ Joey90: what recoloring work, and I do them big cause its easy to outline that way, the colors are from Emerald-Milotic, so don't blame me for the RB colors, theth row?, they have few colors because they use GS colors
@ Fearow: look harder

4th row... I type wierdly when I am tired.
Doing them big is fine I just prefer them smaller...
If you use Advance colours on a R/B sprite it will look bad
And you are right about the G/S/C colours, however if you look at G/S/C sprites (especially those that require 2 distinct colours like pory) they have a lot of hatched shading ...though actually not that much on the original porygon2

I am using R/B colors on the R/B sprites, get some sprites from http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites.html and compare them with my sprites.
What is hatched shading?
I knew revamping was more than just recolors, but how is devamping? And what more do I do?

OK... Then it must just be the style...
Hatched shading is basically alternating between two colours...
Think about it... if you need to do stuff to make R/B sprites into Advance/DS sprites, then you must need to do something the other way around...
Just compare your sprite with some similar R/B sprites

I really like your red Vaporeon. ^_^ As for the Devamps, lovely job! It looks to me like you did both Gold and Silver versions- that's a really nice extra touch.
Your pixel-overs look pretty good; I'd try shading the outlines as well- that ought to make them look pretty spiffy.
I think what Joey90's talking about is, when going from, say, a base shade to a dark shade, is to have a part with both shades in a checkerboard pattern. Light, Dark, Light, Dark, etc. For an example look at the dark shading on a Gold Ursaring. See the pattern?

How do I hatched shade the Castform Forms, the second lightest color covers most of the sprite, it would be awkward for most of the sprite to be checkerboarded.

Hmm... why don't you try making a Sandstorm sprite for Castform? The Sunny Day, Rain Dance and Hail already have sprites.

Some new sprites.
The Porygon A2Z & 123 (the fusion), is kind of a rough draft, I haven't really finalized the colors (they are still the original colors).
The Metapod, Dratini, and Dragonair are from Yellow; the Mew is from Gold. Yes, those are my first revamps (just in case you don't believe so )
So, what do you think.
More sprites:
Boy, I just love devamping Gold (top) and Silver (bottom) sprites. They look more authentic.

BUMP!
I just realized what this was. Please rate, as always. I am planning to merge this with my shop (which I will advertise soon), if I can.
Edit: This is the first time I am using a font size other than normal.
