Ok as I you probably already know there are no Competitive Movesets for the 4th Generation Pokemon.
Don't worry dear friends I have made some now, remember though these aren't completely done for example I'm missing pokemon such as:
and the reason being though is there are movesets already available for and so I didn't think it would be neccassary to create one however if u want me adding some just feel free to ask.
another thing please remember I'm doing the best that I can I know the movesets aren't perfect but just let me know if I'm making any mistakes It makes my job alot easier and remember these are strictly movesets made by me there aren't standard movesets you don't have to use them if you don't want to I'm merly suddgesting anyway enjoy

Original; this is a guide on competitive movesets, not standard movesets.
And we need at the very least natures/EV's, not like we can't do that ourselves, but...

If I may not post these kind of things, don´t pay attention then

that need to Recover after battling.
and yes APB I like your movesets a little
bit simular to mine but I see what your trying to do
with those very good

What's the point in movesets for just the new pokemon, since this is for competitive battling most competitive battlers will use pokemon from other generations.
The old competitive movesets for the older pokemon are not reliable for diamond and pearl since there are now new moves and the physical/special attack split therefore a list of competitive movesets for the 4th generation would only really be useful if it contained movesets for all pokemon and as others have said included natures and EVs.

I realize that, I was just pointing him in a good direction. For example, the most common format of typing of movesets, some pretty decent examples, and ratings/notes.

Well I feel as though some of the movesets aren't very diverse, in all honesty you can make "strategies" and movesets but every good idea has a flaw, trust me.
Ex.
Torterra is not divers, Crunch for dark types is a must. While Synthesis can be good the only thing bringin down its HP will be fire or ice and when making synthesis bad and Leftovers great.
Infernape is not a good mixed sweeper, Fire Punch over flamethrower or vise versa. But it is recommended due to his movepool that you make it physical.
Empoleon looks good, and why on earth would you make a competitive moveset for Bibarel... No one should ever use that thing on Wi-Fi.
Bronzong makes for a much better toxic annoyer than a Phys Sweeper. These are just a few things I noticed at a quick glance, and In Depth viewing of this may be a little more harsh.
Ok so all in all you need to list EV spreads and natures, as well as take time to rethink your ideas. It may also be better to get an idea of what is used on Wi-Fi such as OU and UU pokes so that you wont waste time on pokes like Bibarel. If you need any info feel free to contact me.

Yes very much so
anyway CLaSsicK
I guess you are right about the
thing but I can't help but feel like making movesets for
all of the 4th generation pokemon just in case anyone was curious or wanted to
use the much lower used Pokemon
I mean hey I use Slaking and not many trainers do
I teach mine Hyper Beam since it misses a turn anyway
and it also gets STAB.
by the way thanks for the feedback I'm at least glad to hear I did something right
with

Lots of people use Slaking like that. Well, *used*. Hyper beam is special now, so I'd imagine people replace it with Giga Impact. Same as Hyper Beam, but physical.
And the problem with Rest is that you're asleep afterwards. For undefensive pokemon, this is usually fatal. Rampardos, for example, won't survive to wake up.

I realize that I just thought with Chesto Attached any {pokemon}
that knows rest will instantly wake up that was my plan having so many Pokemon learn the move.

Fair enough, but also consider that a lot of pokemon won't survive the one turn they use to rest. Rampardos for example, again, could be knocked out in one hit at full health, so rest would be very situational, if viable at all.
Rest could possibly be used to undo things like hail, sandstorm, confusion damage, etc, but still.

I just started EV training my Gallade, and I'd like to know a good moveset for him. I was thinking of teaching him Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Night Slash, and Psycho Cut. Please tell me if this is a disastrous thing to do. Thanks!

Im sorry but in my oppinion that is a very disastrous thing to do very rarely if ever should a Pokemon have only attacking moves.
Here try this:
Close Combat or Brick Break (Your Choice)
Psycho Cut
Wish / Confuse Ray
Swords Dance / Bulk Up
Sorry if you can't get Wish or Confuse Ray also u can try this:
Attract or Thunder Wave.

If I may suggest an Idea of a Gallade´s moveset I´m working on, is this.
Gallade
. Hypnosis
. Focus Punch
. Wish/Destiny Bond/Confuse Ray
. Night Slash/Psycho Cut
Sleep-punching opponents is one good strategy, the third move is really your choice, it will workk if you know how to use it, and last one is to get rid of Gengar (and other Ghosts).

Nothing against this strategy and all but isn't Hypnosis a bit risky? I mean like even if it was to work (because it can miss from time to time) but if your opponent wakes up immedeatly (Which is unlikely but still possible) then your Focus Punch won't work because if your attacked you'll instantly loose your focus and it would be for nothing which leaves you with only 1 gauranteed Attack which is good by the way [Night Slash or Psycho Cut] another downside to this is if a Pokemon that you are battling can't be put to sleep because of a special ability it posseses or its own ability also puts you to sleep as well then your in some real trouble. Another outside factor could be if your opponent had a Chesto attatched that was intended for a Rest/Chesto combo that was triggered early sure u negate the strategy but that also puts you back to square 1 which brings me to my point although I know you mean well with these movesets but I think there a bit risky to pull off.

I really dont like recovery moves on Sweepers, because of the fact that their defenses never suit it. I dont like the idea of a recovery move on Gallade, especially Wish, which takes time to work.
