Roleplay Name: Celadon City Trainer Meet
Roleplay Genre: Modern-day Pokémon

Setting: This RP is set in Celadon City at the beginning, at the bi-annual Celadon City Trainer Meet where trainers gather from all around the world to take in the scenery, trade, battle and shop in one of Kanto's finest locales.

Plot: The RP starts off in Celadon, before the highlight of the Meet begins; a Pokémon Battle Tournament. Players may already have an existing character with an established history and a developed team of Pokémon, or they may wish to start afresh - for the latter, Professors Oak and Elm (played by myself - these include six unique Pokémon Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Chikorita and Totodile, as well as a multitude of other Pokémon that a new player can ask about) are giving away Pokémon to new trainers in the city square. Trainers can meet here, and perhaps befriend each other and decide to travel together. One trainer in particular (my own character), Elliot Demakes runs into an ally of an old friend, only to find that friend has been spreading vicious rumours about him to the trainer population of Hoenn, his home-region. After the tournamet, he decides to set off back home to Hoenn to clear his name and track down Malcolm to find out his motivations, and he may do so with people he meets at the meet.

Players do not all have to go to the same place, together. You may develop your own plot and pursue that, and other players may choose to join you, you don't all have to travel with Elliot Demakes.

Even after the Meet is over and the players have moved on from Celadon City, new players can join at any time - they just have to choose when, where and how they want to make their entrance.

Additional Rules:
1. No legendaries.
2. No absurdities like talking Pokémon or a Blaziken than can use water, fire, grass and electric attacks and can also fly and looks like someone from Naruto etc. etc., this is just your bog-standard Pokémon training/journey RP.
3. No "floating" water Pokémon. Unlike the games, you can't let Pokémon incapable of movemeny on land out and expect them to be mobile, the same goes with land Pokémon in water. For example, a random trainer has a Seaking and lets it out on land - that Seaking will just flail around and not be of much use, and say you're surfing along on your Lapras and you end up in a battle - you're not exactly going to be able to let your trusty Torterra fight from your Lapras' back - you'd have to use another water-treading capable Pokémon or one that can fly.
4. Please don't do anything with another person's character that will affect them in a major way without prior consent, it's just rude.
5. Most importantly, please enjoy this RP - take your characters deeper than you ever have, get involved and journey with Elliot and whoever he's with. That's the whole idea. I tried to get this RP going on Bulbagarden but to no avail, I'm new to this community and if this is accepted, I hope it can become relatively successful.

Role Play Name: Children of Sinnoh: Rocket Reborn

Role Play Genre: Pokémon Adventure

Setting: This RP is set in Kanto, though it begins at Lake Verity, Sinnoh.

Plot: Four young would-be Pokémon Trainers are called to Lake Verity, by Professor Rowan, Sinnoh's resident Pokémon Professor. The four arrive there to be offered one of four Pokémon, as well as Pokédex and special tickets for the Sea Gallop Inter-Regional ferry, bound for Cinnabar Island in Kanto. These four young trainers are tasked with training their Pokémon, as well as catching new ones if they so desire, in order to shut down the latest incarnation of Team Rocket; which has risen from it's ashes after Giovanni began to feel threatened by Team Galactic.

Players: At the beginning, only four player slots are available; one of them already being occupied by me. These are of the four trainers sent from Sinnoh. These four players are the main protagonists and are all between the ages of 10 and 16 years old, as well as all being from Sinnoh. As soon as these four posistions have been filled, the RP begins!

Later in the game, other player slots will be made available; in the form of four Team Rocket Admins nicknamed the "Brutal Four." These four Rocket trainers are tasked with stopping the Children of Sinnoh at all costs, once Giovanni becomes aware they are a threat. These players are the main antagonists and are all adults between the ages of 18 and 25, and can have mixed personal histories unlike the Children of Sinnoh. Applications and choice of Pokémon will be made available nearer the in-game creation of the Brutal Four.

Rules:
1. Absolutely no God-modding.

2. No controlling of anyone else's characters without prior permission.

3. No unrealistic Pokémon growth. Your Pokémon isn't going to evolve the instant we arrive in Pallet Town; it'll take some training.

5. Finally, and most obviously, abide by forum rules and keep your attitude in check or be dealt with by the Admins.

RP Name: Pokemon Combat League

RP Genre: Pokemon, Fighting

Setting: Various areans across Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh

Plot: The year is 2018. Some people have grown tired of the usual Pokemon battles...you know, the ones with elemental attacks and such. Well, now the is the Pokemon Combat League (PCL.) The PCL is open to all trainers and their Pokemon. Of course, there is a twist. They cannot use any of their attacks. They can only use regular attacks, such as punching, kicking, biting, even wrestling moves have been used in the PCL.

This unique style of fighitng rapidly grew in popularity. Soon tournaments were forming everywhere. However, as the PCL grew, it became more and more corrupt. Gambling, fixing matches, and cheating grew more and more common. The particular thing was, this only made it more popular, until standard battling became almost obsolete.

Trainers in the PCL are called "coaches" while the Pokemon are referred to as "fighters." Plenty of Pokemon have been bred and raised solely for fighting, much to the dismay of certain people.

Eventually, the PCL was disbanded due to its massive corruption.

10 years later, the PCL is making a comeback...a big one. Now run by the notorious Team Rocket, the PCL has been marketed to the extreme. Standard battling was almost offically over, and fans flocked to areans to watch the fights, but Team Rocket was not satisfyed. They needed more fans, more money...more Pokemon.

Name: Clash of the Titans!!!

Genre: You are a pokemon

Setting: All over sinnoh starting north of Pastoria, near the Safari Zone(the pokemon don't use route numbers).

Backstory: The premise of the story is a clash between the 3rd and 4th generation legendaries. Kyogre and Groudon have overcome their differences and decided to wage war against the Sinnoh pokemon. Kyogre proceeds to pick a fight with Palkia, throwing the region into a state of terrible rains. Groudon and Dialga are slightly more cordial, but their thirst for new territory overcome this, and they begin to fight as well, further screwing up the weather conditions. What's more, Rayquaza and Giratina have been disturbed, and are rampaging around Sinnoh, forcing all of the humans into evacuating to Hoenn/Johto/Kanto. Most of the pokemon are leaving as well, so it is up to the pokemon that remain (those that cannot fly, swim, or levitate) to try to stop the fight

Plot: Some of the baby pokemon are fed up with the fruitless attempts to quell the fighting, and journey out to try to end the fighting using a combination of youth and cuteness. They travel, honing their skills until the day comes when they are ready to fight.

No tm moves (you are allowed one egg move)

Geesh, it's been a while since I've been here. I hope I'm not too rusty.

Roleplay Name: I Dream of Life
Roleplay Genre: Sci-Fi/team-based
Setting: U.S.
Plot: For those along the Pacific coast, life has been getting increasingly difficult. A drought struck the land, the crops died, animals have been dieing, and people have been becoming sick. As people along the coast try to live in blissful ignorance of the happenings around them, people are beginning to disappear at an increasingly frightening pace.

Our tale begins in California when creatures suddenly attack. They seem to feed only on people who are at least 18, prefering their prey to be alive for as long as possible as they eat. It is unknown whether they can realize the others are there, or if they just don't care. No one knows whether or not you're still 'safe' when you're 17. And, people certainly don't know where they came from.

Because of the carnage and pandemonium, it's been impossible to get news in or out. The only thing known by the rest of the world, that has yet to come under seige, is that something very bad has happened. The creatures are able to strike anywhere, there are winged, finned, and (seemingly) land-locked beasts.

Can these beasts be stopped before all the adults are dead?
More Details: There is a group of kids that are making their way east-ward, trying to get to D.C.. The oldest people in this small band of kiddies are 15 [who turn 16 during the RP], there are only two of them. The youngest is 3 or 4 years old. The RP begins right before the attack, none of the kids know each other originally. They all meet while the attack is going on, or afterwards along the way.
