Well I decided to put the two topic I was going to make into one. Well whos your favorite team in MLB? Also who do you think is going to make it to the World Series?
I like the New York Yankees.
Also I think the World Series will be a showdown, putting Boston Red Sox against the Cleveland Indians and the Sox will win becuz of the Dice-K

I like the Braves, but it looks like the Mets will win the NL East. Hopefully the Braves can at least get the wild card spot.
I think the World Series will be the Red Sox vs. the Mets, with the Sox winning in 6.

^ I love how all the yankees fans are so adamant about loving them. I say the braves will hopefully win the wildcard, as S_S said.

lol @ teh Yankees Always hated them more than any other team . . . 'cept the Red Sox. And the Twins.
But my team is the (former California, former Anaheim) Los Angeles Angels, and I've been a supporter of theirs since 1995 or so when they took on former Nebraska Cornhusker Darin Erstad. Erstad betrayed us and went to the White Sox this year . . . but I still love the Angels, anyway.
And this year, we're actually GOOD! Second-best record in baseball!

I absolutely love the Blue Jays, as you can guess from my avatar. I don't have a clue who's going to win the world series, although the Red Sox have been really hot so far... but, past history has shown that teams that do best after the all-star break tend to do best in the playoffs.

I'm with JsXtm. I love the Blue Jays, but I don't think the Red Sox are gonna win it.
PS: If I didn't like the Blue Jays I wouldn't have made your avatar transparent.

Wow, people that aren't from Toronto that like the Jays. That's crazy...
Hometown teams are always cool, so go Blue Jays.
The Lovable Losers always win (lol) so go New York Mets.
I kinda like the Yankees, but mainly because of Posada, A-Rod and Jeter.
My favorite player is Reyes whee. 40+ steals at the All-Star Break.
btw, I'm happy for Guerrero for winning the Home Run Derby, but he robbed Alex Rios. -_-

I think Tigers have a chance to go all the way this year. We just need Our bullpen to return to full strength and we need to keep our offense going. We will upset Boston so do not even think about it.

I"d like to see Boston and the Mets in the World Series. Just so all the Yankee fans that cry about losing to Boston again and still support New York and heckle the Red Sox.

boston is definitely the team to beat... no1 can seem to beat them except for the yanks (there mystique for a reason )
being a yankees fan, i am confident that there will be a yanks/red sox showdown inda ALCS... besides MLB needs it (last yr had the lowest world series TV ratings in a yrs)

No. The Red Sox have been struggling since more or less the All-Star break, and only the horrible starts everybody else in the Division had, combined with their really good first half, have prevented the Yankees from overtaking them thus far. The Red Sox are going nowhere in the postseason, they don't have any good momentum. Cleveland, New York, and the Angels are all playing better than the Red Sox at the moment.
