LMFAO that was priceless. How does the Cloning glitch work with GTS?? Do you possibly mean the Wi-Fi trading in the bottom of the Pokemon center because I have heard of no such thing in the GTS.
Also Missing0 has nothing to do with the cloning glitch introduced in GSC, in GSC it involves the save thas is introduced in the PC when you switch Boxes. That glitch can also be used to give you all 3 Starters in GSC without trading.
I have heard very very few rumors that you can clone in trades at the Pokemon Center. It involves turning it off right when it say take good care of (whatever) but I have yet to test or prove it.
Well, missigno clones your 6th item, so I was wondering what it meant.
This has yet to be tested by me, but I heard a rumor that when you put a poke up for offer on the Global Trading Station, or GTS, you can turn your game off at the 7th tick on the clock in the corner... I was a video on it too. Some guy cloned his bidoof, much in the same way as in G/S/C
Oh, and how would you get all 3 starters w/o trading? unless you saved before you got one then cloned it before you saved again...

Lots of people were saying about how four regions can't fit in one game, but if the Memory in a DS game card was put in a GBA game pak, and could fit about 4 times as much stuff, which would work perfectly. Unless... I'm not sure if that would work, with new technology in the GBA slot... I don't know...

of course THAT would work, as the DS browser has a memory card for the gba slot
but the memory of the actual regions would be in the DS game, only memory that needs to go from region to region like pokemon and items would go on the GBA game

So do you mean have a DS game card for each region? that'd be annoying to carry around...
What about a new Pokemon DS game with Johto in it, but it can go to whatever region is in the GBA slot e.g. sapphire is in the gba slot, so you can go to Hoenn and do stuff there, including meet your Hoenn self and battle it.

only thing is that they would have had to program sapphire to except the johto self...
like how they programed r/b/y to trade with g/s/c and r/s/e/fr/lg to migrate

r/b/y were programmed to trade with g/s/c? and r/s/e/fr/lg were programed to migrate? I though that r/b/y were tricked into thinking they were just trading with another r/b/y, and migration was a form of hacking that involved d/p reading the r/s/e/fr/lg, seeing the pokemon to transfer, releasing them, then creating a copy on the d/p.
I don't think it's be that hard to read area information from the GBA slot game, and mix it with the DS game. And the GBA you will be an AI, so it wont matter if it sees some unknown pokemon, it'd just be a copy of you put into the DS game.
Anyway it's 2:30 am and I want to go to sleep. PM me to explain furthermore. Good bye

Hmm...I don't believe this topic is about Timezones, now is it? Call me a backseat mod if you will, but at least try to stay on topic.
One thing I would like to see done in future generations is the implementation of the Match Call system, like in Ruby and Sapphire and Emerald.
As for having a Pokemon follow you around, it sounds like an OK idea, but something is tellling me that it's not going to happen, especially with Amity square. I'd like the GTS to stay, and I'd like its "you can only seek pokemon you've seen" rule to stay in effect, although I think that WiFi trading should be allowed only later in the game.

I like how in the olden days you could catch a shiny and everyone would be like 'Cool, it's shiny' but now lots of people use AR and gameshark. I probably shouldn't complain because thanks to gameshark I'm going to get Mew, Deoxys and Jirachi on my Dex... finally. I hate nintendo event pokemon

It is the Global Trade Station Worldwide Pokémon Trading! situated left of the Pokemon Centre in Jubilife City. You should ask questions like that in the Official Question Thread http://www.psypokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=280234
Good day.

i think it would be really cool if they made like an adventure game for the wii like the trainer you could customize and walk through the wold and when like a trainer saw you or a wild pokemon it would jump to a different screen and would be like a realtime battle like smash bros. that would be awesome and it would be even better if the pokemon could like remember all of their moves like in the tv show.

Sure, it might need some new mass-memory-storage device(s), but it would be unbelievable if Nintendo and Game Freak created a game where you beat all four(and maybe a new fifth) regions. You would have to like start over each new region by leaving your old pokemon behind in some distanmt PC box, and when you finally beat the International Elite 4 and a Champion, oyu could fly to the regions and finally access the Pokemon that were locked away. That would totally rock! Actually, I like writing fictional sorta game reviews for made up pokemon games. Like in my latest one, you have to beat all 32 gyms before going home to The Torm Islands and face their 8 gyms and then go to a spire island and defeat the International League of Past Champions with like Drake, Wallace, Cynthia, ect. plus a brand new 5th season featuring the FIRST Fighting legendary. Hooray!

They make it so we can import pokemon so our hard work doesnt go to waste
We can catch all the pokemon between PD except the previous starters
which we can import from FRLG RSE
Omnipotent1 wrote: Aboutt he travelsing to other egions, that would take the point out of the game
How does that take the point out of the game?
It makes it more fun
Its one of the reasons GSC is so popular
Kanto may have been a little empty but it was still fun to travel there and fight the gym leaders.

Actually to my knowledge Game Freak was kindly enough to drop the need for past legends and event only's for Dex completion. So you could get a falsely complete dex without the likes of Zapdos and Lugia. You'd only need to import starters.

They actually made it so you didn't need event Pokemon like Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, or Manaphy. You still need the other Legendaries (like Zapdos) because they are easy enough to get on the GBA games and then import.
