Plain and simple I don't know which to pick. So I'm going to turn to more proffessional advice...
Based on my current team, which would fit better, Weavile or Garchomp?
Charizard @ Life Orb
Modest - 252 spec atk, 252 spd, 6 hp
Special Sweeper
~Flamethrower
~Dragon Pulse
~Ancient Power
~Air Slash
Electivire @ Life Orb
Adamant - 252 atk, 252 spd, 6 hp
Physical Sweeper
~Thunderpunch
~Firepunch
~Cross Chop
~Earthquake
Salamence @ Wide Lens
Adamant - 252 atk, 129 def, 129 hp
Physical Sweeper
~Stone Edge
~Earthquake
~Dragon Dance
~Dragon Claw
Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Calm - 176 spec def, 120 spec atk, 8 spd, 204 hp
Drainer
~Substitute
~Leech Seed
~Synthesis
~Ice Beam
P.S. Please don't suggestcomment regarding my team. It is just there to make a better judgement on wheather WEAVILE or GARCHOMP
Thank - you

I would go with Weavile, because it has types that the others are not...and I think it rocks..but Garchomp is cool too....

Whose your 5th? That could help us decide more. Anyway, from what I see you don't have anyone with super Speed or anyone with a dark move. You could give Weavle some speeds EVs and night slash (since he's more physical) to handle that role.

Since you already have a dragon, I'd say go with Weavile.

i think u should put weaville since garchomp is a dragon/ground and u have a dragon pokemon already and u have a pokemon that knows a ground move so go with weaville.

Theres nothing bad with using both dragons. They're quite powerful, and the opponent needs to find a way to stop both. Most teams will have one counter, and if it dies, the other is skot-free. It's not uncommon to see 2.
Nor is running multiple moves of the same type bad, Common moves like Ice Beam and Earthquake you want to run more than one.
However, in this case, I think I might say Weavile. Gengar still won't be a bad option as a 6th.

As much as I absolutely HATE going against Weavile, in this situation, adding a Weavile to your team would make a third Poke'mon weak to the Rock type on your team. (The other two being Salamence and Charizard)
For this simple reason I will say go with Garchomp.

Yes, well both Salamence and Garchomp are 4x weak to Ice Beam, which is also commonly used. It's called strategic switching and covering your weaknesses.
Anyway, if you need any more help, PM me. I'd be glad to help.

Weavile has a point, even though Weavile 4x times weak to fighting theres lots of other pokemon with 4x weaknesses. So thats not even something to discuss.

Definately Weavile. Garchomp can make a case over Salamance if you wish you. It is all which one you like more.

I have to agree with everyone else go with Weavile and give it a focus sash so it can survive more than one hit because it has great OHKO potential on many of the common pokes used by other trainers.

It all depends on the moveset you give them. But weavile still has a more type advantages than garchomp does. I still think that garchomp is a great pokemon no doubt but weavile probably be better off, just because it's one of the fastest and strongest pokemon. And also a weavile kill a garchomp any time. I still think that garchomp is the best dragon, because it's the fastest. But when you compare to weavile it has no chance of wining.

Weavile, but don't you think Lucario would be a better choice? It doesn't have Weakness to Ice or Rock it actually covers the weaknesses.
If you go with Weavile this
Ice punch
Night Slash
X-Sciszor
Shadow Claw
If you go with Garchomp this
Earthquake
Swords Dance
Dragon claw
Stone Edge
Lucario this
Flash cannon
Aura sphere
Dark pulse
Dragon pulse
Or this
Extreme speed
Sky uppercut
Blaze kick/Rock slide/Poison jab
Crunch

however most roch types are also ground which is weak to ice
and with brick break it can sweep rocks and steels
if only zen headbutt could be learned by weavile to cover its fighting weakness
