Ok well I saw this thing on youtube and sure enough this guy was battling Ho-oh now if we can all remember the first episode of Pokemon and Hooh's debut was in that episode...is it possible for Ho-Oh to be in the original Pokedex?

Even with a GameShark, you cannot get or see Ho-oh in any of the first generation games.
That video you saw was mostly likely a hacked ROM, not something you can do with a GameShark. You'd have to dump the games ROM to a computer and manually edit the sprite information.
That, or it was just an edited video.
Ho-oh's information isn't in the first generation games at all.
