Okay, does anyone have tips for how to get a certain nature in breeding easily? I've been sitting here on my butt, breeding Clamperls for two hours on and off. I still haven't gotten the one I want. Any tips to speed up the process or certain combinations to make?

there is 1 if you're using a ditto and if ditto has the nature ure looking for then give ditto the everstone i think you get a 50% chance of passing on dittos nature and if youre not using ditto then give the everstone to the female pokemon and it will have the same effect as giving it to ditto.

yeah, it helps you hatch eggs quicker by 1/3 of its original steps it doesnt help passon natures.

I believe you mean 'Flame Body' and not 'Magma Armor'.
The Slugma Family and the Magmar Family have this ability.

I think it just halves the egg steps when you have flame body...
If you're trying to breed for natures, it's pretty much impossible... I got a correct nature out of 37 eggs once... and it's DV's sucked. I would prefer good DV's, and a Nature that doesn't demote one of your key stats.

^Actually, breeding for natures isn't so bad for me. It takes a while, but I've never ended up with more than like, 20 extra eggs. And most of them turned out really good, when you factor in EV training too.
I did get my Clamperl by the way, and I used the Everstone trick for getting a new Beldum. Apparently, if the pokemon breeding with Ditto is androgynous, you can give the stone to either one. Thanks for this tip!
BTW, it's Magma Armor AND Flame Body that have the same effect.

What gets tricky is when the Pokemon you're breeding for has two possible Traits. I needed a Horsea with Modest nature and Swift Swim. On my FIRST TRY, I got Modest nature, but it had Sniper. Considering the fact that getting even just the nature right on the first try was extremely rare, I took that as an omen and gave up on Swift Swim, adjusting his planned moveset and item to match Sniper instead.
Clamperl is easier, though. Glad you found it soon enough. =D It really is a wonderful, warm feeling when you check the nature for the umteenth time and there, glaring you in the face, is finally the one you spent an hour trying to get... It's as if the pain was never there. =D

Try getting a nice Dratini with a good nature. If using Flame Body/Magma Armor, it's still 5120 steps x___x
