Oh, right. I forgot about Aurora Beam. So, all the ice type damaging attacks are Aurora Beam, Blizzard, Ice Ball, Ice Beam, Ice Punch, Icicle Spear, Icy Wind, Powder Snow, and Sheer Cold.

Well, you can catch a Spheal that knows the move Ice Ball (The Ice-Type equivalent of rollout.), that move is basically throwing balls of ice at the opponent. Also, I believe that there's only one ice move that involves a beam. Which is Ice Beam.
Actually Aurora Beam is a ice-type move and involes a beam, hence the beam in aurora beam. Why is everyone arguing over chucking chinks of ice. Not to mention what's so bad about being frozen, it just really makes them harder anyway. I don't really think that the type matchups should be changed, that would confuse everyone mostly, and change the strategies that some people use.

These are the changes that should be made IMHO
Water is SA against steel (rusting)
Poison is SA against water
Fire is SA against poison
Psychic is NA against bug
Fighting is normal against ice
Normal is SA against Ice (it needs something)
Rock is SA against electric (its practically the same as ground)
Dragon is SA against grass (I chose a random starter type)

What happens to a block of ice when a karate master hits it? It should smash into a hundred pieces.

I always thought Ice should Water 2x because it affects water to freeze. seems logical.

Yeah, but look at it this way.
Fighting is SA against the following:
Dark
Steel
Normal
Rock
Ice
Thats 5 types. ITs a bit to strong vs too many types, and should lose one.
Lets see which.
Dark: The only other thing it is weak to is Bug, which has very few moves that are truely good.
Steel: Weak vs Fire, Fighting, and Ground. Fire and ground are very common type moves, but because stell is resistant to so many other types, it needs the extra weakness.
Normal: Fighting is its only weakness. nuff said
Rock: This one could go as well as I think of it. Rock has 5 weaknesses, and since a lot of Rock types have another type, that adds to the weaknesses. trow out Fighting, and rock may become much better.
Ice. See above, but change 5 weaknesses to four. 2 other notable things to point out. First, Ice has just one resistance: ICE. 2nd, about Ice haveing other types with them: There are 4 pure Ice types: , , , and the new Ice type Eeveeultion
So, Take out Ice's (or Rock's) weakness to Fighting, and balence things out a bit

i think that fighting shouldn't break steel. i mean, steel is pretty much a strong type, but have you ever seen a karate master chop steel in half. i haven't. the guy probably is gonna have a broken hand.
but what stinks is that there are only 4 things afraid of ice. shoudn't there be more? i mean, liquid nitrogen can basically freeze any thing, so shouldn't it kill rock, or steel?
and i think that normal shouldn't have any weaknesses because if you think about it, there are 1000 ways that a NORMAL person can be killed by, well, everything? if we were pokemon, we'd be normal. so if normal is (if you think more realisticly) afraid of everything, that would be unfair. if you ask me, i'd say that normal has no weaknesses or resistances or imunities (because ghosts basically scare the heck out of people).
