Yay, a Pokemon we can actually talk about! But anyway Hitmonlee is really only capable of being a physical sweeper in my opinion, due to its horrific SP. Att rating, but with superb Att. and Sp. Def, it has potiental to even hold out its own against Psychic Types, providing that you don't overload it with Fighting Type moves, paticularly all it's "kick" moves (Jump Kick, Hi-Jump Kick, etc.).
Little know fact (or at least I think it's little known): Hitmonlee is actually named after martial arts expert Bruce Lee (Hitmonchan was also named after a martial arts guy, Jackie Chan. but Hitmontop was not named after some guy named "Top", he was named since he spins on his head like a top, but that's kinda obvious).
I usually pick Chan over Lee since he has a much larger type variety (Ice Punch, blah blah blah, etc, etc, etc) but I think Lee is better since those attacks do little damage with all the "Hitmon's" poor Sp. Att.
Well, I put my two cents in, Peace Out!

Hitmonlee was named after one of the greatest men to walk the earth, One of my few role models, I worship the great Bruce Lee.
Hitmonlee stands out in front for me, hes my favorite of the fighting type and has helped me through alot of my battles in pokemon stadium.
I like the moveset, I always wished they would make a thunder, fire, ice Kick, like the punch abilities.
All together................... 8/10
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

{hitmonlee} Yes, my favorite fighting pkmn, I can't say enough 'bout him. Though his defenses maybe *cough* his attack is awesome and he's been a lifesaver for me so many times. (it would get pretty lengthey if I kept on going.)

I never really use any non-evolving pokemon in my team... (legendaries make an exception ) I've used only once in a team before. It sure can sweep!

I don't use him that much. And I may not until I get Emerald/Firered. I'm pretty sure everybody gets what I call a "permanet team". I mean yeah, you train others, but this team is kick butt. is not what I consider kick butt. Even though his "kicks" hurt.

I am starting to question this POTW thing, now don't get me wrong, it's a great idea, it's just that everyone stops talking about the POTW after 3 or 4 days, which leaves half the week just waiting for the next POTW. I was thinking that either it could be Pokemon of the Half-Week (yes I know it's lame), or maybe we could put have 2 POTW per week instread of one (like say one of them is something that can't really be talked about much, like say since the only attack he has is Transform, then we have some sort of back-up). Again these are just some ideas that I wanted to share. Peace Out!
PS : GO ! w00t!

But then we would run out of pkmn in (384/2=192) 192 days!!!, instead of 384 days. (heres another thought that Crosman mentioned and I saw on another pkmn forum, we could do a pkmn vs. pkmn competition. For exapmle vs and we say who we want ro win.)

I like with a very standard moveset.
Shell Bell/Adamant
1-Return
2-Earthquake
3-Brick Break
4-Shadow Ball
I don't get how 's insides are configuerd. I mean he has all those holes on his body, does air go in as well as out?

is the solution to Ghosts, Darks, Psychics and Fighting types. Just go with Brick Break, Extrasensory and Shadow Ball, and you can deal with four types with a single Pokemon! Cool 8)

I agree with snowball.
Exploud used to be one of my team members on sapphire.
My opinion of exploud:
Well balanced pokemon with a good movelist.
He was a standout for me agianst the elite four.
Good attack and special attack make moves like hyper beam more effective for this pokemon.
I like the fact that Exploud can learn Rest and sleep talk as well.
FINAL: 7/10

Aww. I missed the Hitmonlee week. NVM, I think Hitmonlee and Exploud are both cool. I have a Whismur, soon to be a Loudred!

P.S. I really don't think you should evolve pokemon all the way before putting them up. Maybe you could tell us what you REALLY got and then tell us the max evo. That would be fairer.

is one of the scarier pokemon in my opinion.
This pokemon helped me catch alot of pokemon with its sleep powder.
I like the move set , I usually have to of these pokemon, one knowing Solar beam.
Stats are alright.
FINAL RATING
6/10

. I never really owned a pokemon game that you can catch a in so I've never really been able to get one. It causes alot of trouble with its sleep powder whenever I battle it.
