I just started over on my Yellow Version, and had a LV 4 that when it jumped to LV 6 (due to beating my rival's ) it did not learn Sand Attack, which it learns at LV 5. This also happened when I had my Red Version and my went from LV 8 to LV 10 (after beating Brock's ) and skiiped learned Leer, which it learns at LV 9. Just a warning to anyone that still play these old games that so their Pokemon don't skip learning any good attacks. Peace Out!

That's happened to me a few times, but it's always fun going up 2 levels. Just watch out.

That's pretty interesting.
I had an Abra that I leveled up to level 70. That whole time, it did not learn one move...

Well it could be the fact that Abra doesn't learn anything (unless taught) besides Teleport . Peace Out!

I'm guessing that could be it then.

That is not a problem at all since all the attacks that you skip are crap, like Leer and Sand Attack. Once you get to higher levels, it becomes impossible to gain multiple levels at one go (nothing in the game gives that much experience), so this problem will then cease to exist.
As for the Abra, it CAN'T learn any attacks

How about a level 252 Kadabra? I have one from the Missingno Glitch.

Heh, and then you trade it, and you got yourself a LV 252 . It would OWN!

Yeah but if you Level it up 1 doesn't it go straight to 100?

Yep, unless you use Rare Candies, I think it was orignially a lv. 145 Abra, though when it attacks, it's stats are equal to a Lv. 30 i think.
