http://youtube.com/watch?v=WOOw2yWMS...can%20Inventor
Watch this video.
I belive the same way this guy does, I think this game could make it a far ways, maybe not olympics (at the time) but good enough for the world to play.
If we could get everyone to start playing this game, possibly find a way to contact this man then maybe just maybe, Psypoke could be a big part of a Invention that was looked upon.
This game could be played by anyone at a professional level, theres no bg disadvantages.
I may sound crazy but if you think about it, most Inventions are made of 100% crazyness.
Whos with me.

What this game needs is something to hit the ball with other than your hand.
Allthough this guy is faking it, the game isn't such a bad idea.

26 years... He gave up all that. Im not going to say what incase people still havent seen it.
Thats just incredible how he gave all that up. He went a bit far saying it could do Olympics but i've played a game like that at Pizza Hut when waiting for my food, i got a ping Pong ball from the shop across the street and started playing something like BulletBall.
I think the game should have been made etc.
Poor man. I hope he got his life back to normal.

hmm..... I've played a game like that by scrunching a wrapper into a ball, it was fun, but got boring after a while.
But I don't understand how he thought that could become an olympic sport, it lacks skill and gameplay value.
Well, I guess we can only hope he got his life back...

Bulletball would be a great game.
Lets say they make a four way table or even a six way table (Simliar to the Mr Mime mini game, Satdium 2), There would be alot more going on and alot more strategy.

I like the idea for the game. Sounds fun ^_^
I feel bad for that guy, though. Sold everything over a dream...

interesting... makes me wonder what he did to try and bost the games popularity. it kinda reminds me of when that kid, (new mod.) joined Psypoke and said: "It is my dream to be a mod here! Make me a mod or you will crush my life long dream!" or somthing like that.
I realy feel kinda sorry for the guy, I realy hope he gets a job (Why quit?! he can still share his love for the game while at least doing a part-time job!) and goes back to his life.
also, the game is too easy. like cal said, no skill requierd. would you pay to see that thing played in the olimpics? Hi hon, I'm buying tickets to see the olimpic bulletball game.

Yep I feel bad for the guy too. I'm not suprised it didnt get accepted (It wasn't difficult or really required skill) but I thought they would let him down more easily

Dedicated 26 years for nothing. Became a hobo (I think), for nothing. Hope he got his life back, poor man. that music at the end makes me wanna cry and the expression on the guy's face *sobs*

I honestly think that that was a waste of his life. The game is next to pointless, but with some work it could be better. The idea is just too simplistic. How about a much larger table, obstacles, holes, more players, and something to hit the ball with like a handheld pinball flipper type thing. 26 years? Seriously. More like 26 minutes. Make that seconds. I really don't understand his thought process. Then when he said it was going to make it to the Olympics, I had to restain myself from calling the nearest asylum and yelling, "He got out again!!!" With some modern evolution, though, it might be something I would play.

*sigh* Yeah, that's pretty sad. Honestly, Serpentsounds is right. At the very least it needs a larger table; maybe some obstacles in the middle, a hole that you lose a point if you hit it and it goes down it, etc. The concept wasn't that bad, it just wasn't carried far enough. Although, I really liked how nice the table looked and stuff.

How I could see it, it'd be a six way table, with teams, alternating players (a beside b beside a...) instead of your hand you'd use like a bar with a circular plate at the end, you'd hold the bar, mover the plate around to stop balls from going through your slot. Also there would be a plastic or glass cover on top of the table (don't remember if they had one). There would be a mediums sized hole in the middle with six wooden poles surrounding it (one in front of each player) the poles would be about half a decimetre from the hole and the players would be 2 or 3 decimetres from the poles. The ball would also be more lightweight as to move quicker.

Awww... so depressing, poor guy. And this really happened? Ouch.
There should be some obstacles and a way to fire the ball, like many others have said. Actually, I like bobashotmace's idea really well. There just needs to be some way to fire the ball to make it quicker, hence "bulletball".
It would have been wierd if this happened:
Lady: What do you still have?
Man: I have bulletball and my sanity.
That would've been sad.
