Legendaries are definatly not cheating so I don't see why they don't allow them in certain collouseums such as the Orre Collouseum in Pokemon XD

The people I have a problem with are people who think using legendaries is cheating/unfair/cheap/ect.
Legendaries are made equally available to everyone so using them is not cheating. If you don't want to use them, fine. Just don't whine when you lose because somebody's Attack Deoxys owns you, you had your chance to use it and you turned it down.
It doesn't matter if a person has 0 or 6 legendaries, it's all about strategy. I've met people who can do some crazy combos and strategies with their 6 ubers. I've also seen people counter those strategies without a single legendary. If you have strategy, ubers don't matter. It's people who want to win all the time, but don't want to take the time to plan that complain about legendaries.
So let it be known. If you ever come across me on netbattle (my name is daveshan there too) and you want to use ubers and legendaries, go ahead. I have just as much access to those pokemon and those movesets as you do, so if I lose, it's my own fault.
TO Dr. Koris: The reason you aren't allowed them in Orre Collouseum and the Battle Frontier is that the computer uses a set strategy that an uber could easily beat.

If you had read my other post you would know that im ok with legendaries, but I don't use them.....I wanted ur opinions and I got some. Oh yea, u have to get Deoxy's in Nintendo Events, so u know most ppl don't have Deoxys, Mew, Jirachi, Celebi and so on... So you can't really say they have an equal chance of getting them because it could be easy for you, but hard for them.

I agree with that, a Nintendo event never happens near my state...And Netbattle won't download onto my computer....

Try living in the middle of Pennsylvania. They have Nintendo Events in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, but not here. Ever. (Pittsburgh's on the other side of the state to me, and Philly's about an hour's drive south. My mom's from there ) So, the only way I can get the 'hidden legends' (as I call 'em) is Gameshark...but I don't use 'em, I just catch and release 'em. (My Deoxys that I kept won't listen for crap)

i don't really mind fighting legendaries, if my pokemon are of reletive strength and statistics, but i still don't like losing to them, or making them feint and losing them forever. but what i really hate is hunting them down, i still don't have latias or latios, but i am hunting latias down in my sapphire version, an i shoud have her within a matter of days. the only thing i hate more than that is however, is the pokemon obtained via nintendo, and that is why i am esctatic about the upcoming cincinnati qualification tournement.

Tyranatar
Dragonite
Metagross
Salemence
Slaking
Alakzam
Gangar
These pokemon are the same thing as legendaries. Whats the difference between me using a Latios over a Dragonite?

Tyranitar gets owned by brick break.
Dragonite gets owned by Ice beam while latias/latios only get hit hard by it.
Metagross needs to agility up to be very effective which gives you the opportunity to his it w/ an EQ or Fire Blast. Plus, no matter what its moveset is, there'll be a pokemon that it can't win against.
Salamence: See dragonite.
Slaking: You seriously can't beat a pokemon that can only attack every other turn?
Alakzam: four words: Crobat with shadow ball
Gengar: Fast and high special true, but far from uber.

It's like the old "If you can't beat em, join em" saying. And if you can beat them with other Pokemon, then good for you, and you have no reason to complain about their power.
Its not "cheating" because you dont have to type in God Mode codes or anything, but the idea of legendaries is that there is ONE of each, so it seems a bit stupid that almost everyone at a tournament would have at least one legendary...

Seriously, CLEAR UP THE TERMS:
Legends are the trios.
Ubers are everything about except Celebi and Jirachi.
Also, the aforemention list of pokemon that are "like legendaries" are not and never be legendaries so don't kid yourself.
The only reason you clause them is because you think they are unbeatable. As another poster said, you want to win but don't want to plan out an effective team.
I've swept teams with a Yanma/Murkrow/Piloswine theme. You just need to remember to have counters and anticounters with all teams.
Some people will tell you that this Counter/Anticounter limits the amount of playable pokemon. I'm not going to disagree but if you play OU then get over it. UU has a LOT more variety, abuse that format if you want.
There is also an Ubers format for just that. Uber play.
These aren't just Netbattle Formats either. These are universal formats.
Raikou and friends aren't cheating nor over powered. You, the one who complains about them, didn't plan on the fact that they'd be used and had no effective Counter.
Also, most of the people with 6 ubers have like Bulk Up Mewtwo or Water Pulse Lugia.

Huh? Then Lugia isn't a legendary Pokemon? Then why's it in legends, eh? </masteroftheobviousness>

I personally don't like using Legendary Pokemon at all. I seem to disrespect people who do(No offense). But maybe having 1 lengendary is OKay.

I wouldn't mind if someone had 1 or 2, or maybe 3 lendaries in there team, but overdueing is well there choice. Same as Marowaker i don't use legendaries, but i don't disrespect someone for having them. But just to note the top 50 pokemon consist of all the legendaries... and that right there should state their power.

heh.
I used Regice and Celebi (and Regirock in another team) in my last netbattle team. Nobody thought I was cheating, but a few thought I was cheap for using those two. Regice is my favourite pogey, so he's an auto-include, and Celebi is pwnage, so I use it too.

2 or 3 legendaries I wouldn't mind, but over the limit is aggravating, especially when they reach theirs to lv100.

Hm, let's see.
You and a friend agree to have a NON-LEGENDARY battle, and you pick a non-legendary team. Your friend, however, picks all legendaries and pwns you. Then what?

If that were my friend, I wouldn't have been angry because of the fact that he used Legendaries per se, but I would have been angry because he lied to me.

She makes a good point, if you have a friend who deals with an all legendary team like you...........then go at it, but non vs legendaries...most likely non's will lose. Yea it's good to raise legendaries, but i don't use them in any type of batteling against opponents.

I NEVER use Groudon/Ho-oh etc. in battles, but if my opponent's alright with it, I use an occasional legendary like Zapdos or Latias...
I just LV them up when I'm bored sometimes...

Well I guess some legendary Pokemon.......i don't know if I can even consider them as legends because of their natural stats. For some reason I don't recognize the 3 birds or the 3 dogs or the 3 ice's legendaries, maybe because they come in three I guess. They're not like and . Their stats are also meh.....

I don't mind Legendaries at all, especially since Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, and Metagross are almost - if not as strong as legendaries in their own right!

's statistics and diversity ain't an every day thing,
is not an everyday pokemon, especially since you need Old Sea Map to use it.
