Mark Knopfler;
Scott Joplin ( ).
The rest are Japanese composers, not necessarily Uematsu.

Last time I posted was about half a year ago, so here's a new expanded list (now with genres!):
Rammstein (German "tanz-metall"/industrial/electronic)
In Extremo (medieval/folk metal)
System of a Down (alternative/political rock)
Ra (hard rock with Middle Eastern influences)
Megaherz (German industrial metal)
Apocalyptica (instrumental cello rock)
Pink Floyd (experimental/space rock)
DangerDoom (underground/independent rap)
Alice Cooper (shock rock)
Idlewild (ranges from punk to folkish)
The links to the websites of the first two bands are in my sig, which is why the links were left off the list.

Meh, Greenday is just another fine example of prepackaged corporate bubble gum, IMHO.
Anyhow, I've realized just how awesome Mottley Crue is. I mean, I knew at one time, but I guess I forgot as the years went by, that is until I popped the Dr. Feelgood album in the other day.
Mmm...good music tastes great, don't you think?
