I'm considering replacing someone in my team with Snorlax. My question is, is it worth it to replace a freshly caught Snorlax (level 30, Meadbutt, Yawn, Rest, Snore) for one of these (all level 36):

Pidgeot
Aerial Ace
Fly
Featherdance
Wing Attack

Graveler @ Leftovers
Magnitude
Rock Throw
Rock Slide
Rollout

Blastoise @ Mystic Water
Mega Punch
Wate Gun
Water Pulse
Bite

Raichu
Shockwave
Brick Break
Mega Kick
Thunderbolt

Kadabra @ Leftovers
Psybeam
Confusion
Future Sight
Psychic

Vileplume
Absorb
Cut
Giga Drain
Toxic
Oh ****... I meant to put this in Kanto Revisted. Sorry.

I'd say getting rid of Pidgeot would be a good idea. I've found that at higher levels, it's weaker than many other pokemon, and Snorlax is, in my opinion, one of the most powerful pokemon in the Kanto Dex, with perhaps the exception of Gengar. But it all depends on the kind of team you want to build.

1) Pidgeots are good for a)flying and
b)Bruno and Agatha.

2) Who's gonna fly you if not Pidgeot?

Er, Erika uses grass types, so Graveler is at a disadvantage, and besides, Snorlax is great against Agatha, take it from one who knows.

I agree. I have trained all pokemon from that region to at least lvl 45 and vileplume doesn't do as well as the others. It is a decent pomemon, but out of that selection, snorlax would replace it best.

And snorlax is only "powerful" because of its high hp. It is around 500...but all its other stats aren't very impressive, only the defence is average. But many trainers use it well, and it can destroy your opponent in a long term battle, so just try it out!

I mean replace graveler with Snorlax against Erika, not switch in Graveler, 'cos that's dumb.

I did kicked out Vileplume out of my pkmn team. Snorlax is much stronger than Vileplume.

Now how do I battled pokeymans?

Body Slam
Phychic ( for fighting ones)
Surf

but the one you have is also cool ^_^

Snorlax doesn't really have the Special Attack to use Psychic or Surf effectively. Besides, he has Kadabra and Blastoise to cover Psychic and Water attacks.

I would suggest throwing in Brick Break somewhere so that other Normal Pokemon that are quite tanklike, such as Chansey.
