Well this is my first post in a while but anywayz:
Okay. There I was battling Bertha's Hippowdon. My Lapras was out. Then I was about to switch out to Kyogre when I noticed the row of pokeballs in the top of the bottom screen.
Then the third and fifth to the left shook. I looked at my team line up and noticed it was Kyogre and Snorlax, who were to only ones in my team (beside Lapras) that had a move that was super effective against Hippowdon. Was it a coincidence or is the game advising me on who to switch out to? I looked it up online and found nothing.

When a Pokeball shakes that means the Pokemon inside is gonna level-up soon. The game's just telling you: "Hey that Pokemon will level-up soon if you use it in this battle!". That's it that's all.

kyogre and snorlax evoing? i don't think so.
i belive you are right it does mean super effective moves and/or type resistance

And it means it will level up soon. Even delete the moves and check your self. :)
