you know those people in the battle tower right. the ones who ask for help and opinions? well BE CAREFUL HOW YOU HELP THEM!!! once you have helped them as much as possible, they become opponents in the battle tower battles. AND THEY ARE POWERFUL!!!!! I had to fight my apprentice(layla) and just survived with my pokemon's focus band.

Can't they also become your partners?? 'Sides, I always take the same Pokemon, and make sure my apprentice has Pokemon that complement my own (Blaziken and Mightyena with Shiftry and I can't remember )

*sigh* Okay, in the Battle Tower in Emerald, there is a random trainer that claims to be your biggest fan. Every day he/she will come in and ask you a question concerning their Pokemon Team. What you say will determine what Pokemon and moves that person will have in the multi battle room, where they will either be your teammate or your opponent.

i met him twice in the battle tower.
never battled him.i thought he was a bug catcher.

your apprentice will randomly show in the battle tower period, most people just take advantage of this and give them horrible pokemon/moveset/items for easy wins when trying to get the symbol for the battle tower.

Yeah. i geuss you can make them your partner if you ever find them. But it's not like you know this until you fight them. so you could be giving them great pokemon/movesets without even knowing it. i never have a good item on me when they ask for one so i don't give them one. dont forget. once they are done asking you questions, another one appears. my next one is a singer who asks things in rymes.
