I looked on the main site for this but couldn't find it... Do the Kanto and Johto pokemon need to be caught to get one of the three Johto starters in Emerald? (I.E. Pikachu, Pichu.) -Prays to god that you don't need them-

But I switched my dex to Hoenn only, and the Johto and Kanto pokemon are showing up on there.

Do we have to collect ALL of the pokemon???
Coz I have ruby, sapphire and emerald. I'm on emerald right now and my starter pokemon is Swampert... And how can I get all the hoenn pokemon????? I'm worried...   |
