can i ride the rocket,or only on ruby/sappire?

You can't ride the rocket in any English game, but I'm pretty sure that there is a way to get Deoxys through the rocket in Japanese versions.

No, it was Jirachi, and I'm guessing it's a big hoax.
...But it is a possibility, since japanese people have never had a chance to get Jirachi.

Fake. The rocket is pretty much useless, or at least for the US version of the game. I don't know about the Japanese version.
