{armaldo} is a tad faster than Cradily.
{armaldo} can learn Aerial Ace.
{armaldo} has Hyper Cutter.
{cradily} has Suction Cups. Useless up against anything other than Knock Off and Trick.
{cradily} has a basic movepool but effective moves like Toxic and... Toxic.

So {armaldo} is clearly better.

Ok just to prove Armaldo is good here is a set.

{armaldo}@Shell Bell/Adament
~Rock Slide
~Swords Dance
~EarthQuake
~Aerial Ace/HP Bug

As for Cradily this is the best I can think of

{cradily}@Leftovers/Timid
~Rock Slide
~Confuse Ray
~Leech Seed
~Sludge Bomb

There both Good movesets so choose one. And tell me which one you find better.

If I remember correctly, timid increases speed. That's no good for a Cradily. If you want more attack, go with adamant, more sp def, careful (that takes away sp atk but there isn't any special attacks on this peticular Cradily), and for more def, go with impish (again, this lowers sp atk but there isn't any special atk moves on this cradily). Otherwise, that's a perty good moveset for a cradily.

EDIT: Cradily doesn't learn leech seed..

I swear I have seen a Cradily use this before anyways Amnesia,Recover,or Barrier are all good moves that it can get from level up,and breeding.

I've always liked Cradily more, simply becuase of his looks, so I'm a bit biased when I think of which is better. I taught mine sludge bomb, gigadrain, confuse ray, and rest((i'm not sure if rest is all too great in its moveset, I thought about maybe replacing it with ancient power))

I have to say that I prefer Armaldo and he makes a better sweeper, but if I had to use just one in a proffesional match I would choose Cradily 'coz he's an awesome tank, even if he could be improved alot.

For some reason I never seem to have move to counter-act Cradily...
