So, has anyone here had any funny moments on their Ru/Sa/Emerald game? I have.

Lately, I restarted my Emerald for the third time, after playing for a week or so, I found myself in Victory Road, fighting against 2 Cooltrainers. My pokemon were and , and they were fighting against the Cooltrainers' Claydol and Lanturn. So, on the beggining of the turn, my Aggron uses Protect, then, the Claydol uses Skill Swap on my Bellossom. Then, the other Cooltrainer orders it's Lanturn to peform Earthquake, the Earthquake bouncing off Aggron, missing my Bellossom due to it's new Levitate, and killing it's weakened ally, Claydol, and then fainted right away due to a Solarbeam hitting it. When I saw that on my DS, I just started laughing.

XD How hillarious. A funny thing on my Emerald is that my Swampert can lose to a Shuckle.

Really? Well, my brother somehow caught Rayquasa while it was slightly below full health with a Great Ball after whittling it's health dow for an hour (It kept on using rest.). I wondered how he did that.

same here. in the battle frontier battle pike, i was facing the leader (whatever her name is). her killed my seviper, swampert, and gardevoir! Geeshness!

I was in the Battle Factory fighting an opponent with a Houndoom, Gardevoir, and Ampharos. I had a Salamence and a Dugtrio out first and
he had Gardevoir and Houndoom. My intimitade wasted Houndoom's
white herb, but that wasn't it. My Dugtrio used Earthquake which caused
Houndoom to faint. The opponent sent out Ampharos and Gardevoir
Fire Punched Ampharos because it tried to raise Houndoom's fire power
via Flash Fire. Ampharos' static paralyzed Gardevoir and synchronize
from Gardevoir paralzed Ampharos.

EDIT: I like cheese! And I've both Kyogre and Groudon with a Pokeball,
not very hard to do

wait a sec, doesen't Claydol have Levitate aswell? so the EQ would have missed. You probably just got the move mixed up with another..

Funny, hmm, well i was at a friends house, we both just started Emerald. So, he picks Treecko to battle the lvl 2 Zigzagoon. Instead of attacking, he decided to use Leer. The battle goes on, until hes at around 4 health...then the Zigzagoon flees...it was funny yet disappointing that it didnt faint his Treecko

The trainer's Claydol used Skill Swap.

Bellossom doesn't have levitate anyways. It's a plant. So basically, the Caydol was trading a ability that causes ground moves to miss, for a move that doubles your speed whe it's sunny.

What I always wanted to see was Norman's Zigzagoon at the start of the game fainting the Ralts (I know it could happen, if it got two critical hits.), I wonder what would happen then.

Well...I know something kinda crazy that you guys probably wont believe.
I was just starting a battle with rayquaza and I just noticed I only had one pokeball left with me so the first thing I did was throw the pokeball without doing anything to rayquaza and it went in the pokeball and the next thing I knew I had caught the rayquaza in a pokeball. It may not sound like that really happened...but it did.

lol I had a great one at battle factory.


I had 2 pokemon out don't quite remember which ones but my opponets pokemon were hypno and a fire pokemon with the ability that raises it attack when hit with a fire type attack.one of my pokemon used hydro pump on the fire pokemon (naturally KOing it) and then he sent out his Glalie then his hypno striked next using a fire puch knocking the glalie out!

needless to say I was laughing and on the floor

Regirock caught with dive ball and losing against the salon queen and the trainer just before her twice. Oh I laughed for hours. (sarcasm)

How hilarious.

then i face the @#$% frontier brain...(Which by the way has kicked me 3 times...)
He sent his , and laugh on his face but the worse happend...
For some unknown reason his sing with ridiculous 55 accurace...
Put my to sleep and begin dragon dancing for 4 turns...
then you acan guess what happened with and ...
........................................
sad...

I have two funny things.

1) I have always been undefeated, until the day I chalnged my brother.
My bro. is the best when it comes to games, so really whatever on my
part. Well, I lost!!!!!! Made me so MAD!!!!!

2) I caught my using one Great Ball!!!!!!

my funniest thing that ever happened was when i used a pokeball on all my legenderies and they were on full health and they are timid allof them!!!!
and i got my mew by swapping my 2 gyaradoes to reduse the attack of the mew and then whenit finaly hit i only lost 1 hp and then i got it with a pokeball imean a pokeball!!!!

oh and i got my latios by breeding my latias with ditto

( dont ask)

Okay well I was going to catch Rayquaza in Emerald before the Elite 4.

I always use the masterball but I wanted to try a few times w/o the masterball.

So I threw all my balls and ran out, turned off, did it again. That happened 3 times straight. Then I was about to use my second to last ball, a nest ball, besides the masterball. Note: I didn't weaken it at all.

Well you know what happens next

I think the funniest thing in the game was the Magma Grunt standing with his left side facing a lava pool, and he complains about his post. "What did I do to deserve this? My left ear is burning up!!"

My funnyest moment was when a friend came to my house (I had pkmn emerald and was trying to catch kyogr, I was stuck), when i just started battling kiogre, he snatched the SP off my hands (not very nice) an said "its so isy!".
He throws a pokeball and... you can guess what happens next :):)

T'wasn't funny at the time, but looking back...

The other day, I decided that I would challenge The Dome Ace Tucker.

I swept through the first four tournaments, using my Slaking and Charizard, didn't recieve a single bit of damage! Then I came to the fifth tournament, killed the lot of them too.

Then came that pink freak, he sent out a Salamence, and scored a critical hit with its Brick Break, KOing my Slaking. Then, me being thick, chose my Metagross before the battle, as opposed to my Charizard, and thus it was knocked out by Salamence's Earthquake, which also got a critical hit.

I didn't inflict a single notch of damage.

In the Battle Factory, my last renaining Pokémon, Scizor, defeated a Rapidash and a Water type (I forgot what is was), only to KO'ed by a Snorlax. That doesn't happen too much!
