I can't stand the way the B/W male's pants spaz out towards the bottom, also how he can't fit in his own jacket

b/w girl = she needs a bigger chest, she looks to darn akward, if they did that I wouldn't mind her
b/w boy = He is my least favorite out of all of them, mabye equal with ethan ( freakin cardboard cutout ), he is...badly drawn and too skinny. He doesn't look strong enough to make it to champ

Considering how tall the B/W characters look in I guess their attire or whatever, I think that female trainer should have at least a slightly more mature body as it looks like she has an woman's legs & a girl's torso which is weird if anything but again, I am more concerned about her ingame sprite as this isn't the anime so it doesn't really matter anymore as far as I'm concerned...

The Male character does look better then all the other heros even if he looks a tiny bit mismatched attire wise...

i dont know why people think their 13 or 14 they look like their only 12

Even though they're older than previous heroes/heroines, I think they're proportioning is fine.
Think about where they're from (REALLY sorry if I offend anyone with this).
They're supposed to be from (I'm going to assume) Shanghai, China.

I really disagree Frost. The previous ones are about say...12? But these look much older. At least i think 15. Then again, the previous heroes look a little older than they should anyway but still, imo, the BW characters do look the right age.

Not everyone my age has facial hair. I'd say that they look around the age to me.

I'm aware of that though that being said, I have long left that alone cause yeah I agree, it's not needed what so ever...

I'm not talkin boobies, I'm talking her rib cage/ there is no room for her lungs in there. This is probably just the artist's style though that I don't care much for

The artist's style.

Even though they share some features with their antecessors (same expression, same wide, inocent eyes, same mostly everything), they do look somewhat older than them, but not so much. Perhaps it's because they're slightly taller, and look somewhat "braver" or more bold (for some weird reason; I guess it's the hands on the hips and inside the pocket). Interesting.

I admit it's easier for everyone to interprete characters if the artist goes by the book (no breasts = young, big breasts = mature, etc), but, honestly, they (and, well, human beings in general) don't need to follow a recipe all the time. Perhaps Sugimori decided to make this older girl have smaller breasts, and that's fine (some guys find it attractive ;( )! It also happens in real life, and it's pretty nice to diverse. Yeah, let's shake things a little.

These two are by far my favorite game heroes. I love their designs, and their clothes, and their handbags and everything else. Seriously, gotta love that girl's boots and hairdo. And I also hope the rival is equally as awesome.

Speaking of boobs, did you guys know that in Israel (was that Israel?) women with small breasts can't participate in porn movies because they technically "resemble young girls" and "may incite pedophilia"? Eh heh.

i would also say that they look around the same age that the other heroes looked. but red looks to be about 14-16, gold would be 13-14, and so on. so they look around that age to me as well. and i didn't start growing facial hair until recently (i'm turning 16 next month) so i don't find that to be a valid point. and besides, these are anime/manga characters; in those "genres" things (age, "maturity", etc) get wildly exaggerated a lot of the time. maybe they were emphasizing their youth or something.

Hell I turned 20 last month and still barely have facial hair at all.

well, this is just sugomori art. maybe by the time the anime comes out she will have bigger boobs. and all those pictures of well-developed girls from pokemon are at an angle. the protagonist is facing foward and the sides of her boobs where largness could be shown from is blocked by those bangs that seem to have tumors. anyone else notice that?
theyre drawings so you cant really show how large their boobs are without giving them major cleavage, which would just be inappropriate... for pokemon of course. XD
and the guy character is cool, but what is with his legs? he looks older, but it looks like someone took his legs out with a golf club. theyre just all bent and what not at the bottom and it looks scary. maybe he has hooves? XD And who cares if he has facial hair or not. do you want to give him a beard? would that satisfy you people?

Now is that^ going to reach out at all to ANY group of people (excluding people with beard fetishes)? lets be serious here. just cause he's ohh... 15? doesn't mean he needs facial here. he just needs to look older, and imo i think they accomplished that. and i think Ash is still like 13 because have you heard his voice? ever since the beginning of the series his voice has shouted "IM GOING THROUGH PUBERTY."... well that, or he's a chain smoker xD

if i was into facebook i'd become a fan of that beard = epic

btw, the conversation went back to boobs...i think its safe to say they arn't the problem with her character, it's how small her entire upper half is, i swear here shoulders are connected. I mention earlier she had no room for lungs, i think its heart now.

or two supporting characters and a regular rival.... which is fine, but still.....
if it's two supporting characters, that could mean they become your teammates for 3 vs. 3 matches, which is pretty good.

I just wonder what the roll of N is throughout the game besides the typical Rival challenges...I say this cause there was a Pic of what appeared to be the villian character of the games & N looks like he's related to him somewhat...
