Problem with Breeding Tyrogue

After checking the relavant Psydex pages, I bred a Hitmonlee with a female Alakazam, which, according to Psydex, is also a Humanshape. However, instead of the expected Tyrogue, I got an Abra. What have I done wrong

The egg will always be the lowest evolution of the female Pokemon, so you have to bred it with a Ditto.

Oh? Psydex says to get Tyrogue you must 'Breed Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee with a female humanshape Pokemon,' but I'll try that. Thanks.

That doesn't sound right, I think. All Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan are male, so you have to breed with Ditto to obtain Tyrogue. I'll enquire about this in Viridian Forest

Well, I've just tried to breed with Ditto and it did work, so thanks again.
