First I thought that pikachu hasnt got a pre-evolved form,but one friend in indonesia told me that  evolves into  I was mad I told him that he is wrong but he told me that No,because when I was a kid I didnt watch johto.
Then I told everybody about pichu but they said noo.
I was confused then I bought a Crystal version then I talked to a lady in a house and she said me that pikachu is an evolved pokemon!
I was amazed that pichu is the pre-evolved form of pikachu....
So what do you think when you didnt watch pokemon johto did you belive in baby pokemon???

What happened to me was I received Silver first before any of the other versions, so basically I started out with Johto pokemon. For that reason, baby pokemon never confused me like that.

Baby Pokemon was just an idea they introduced in the GSC Generation. It's not very hard to get used to -> ,  ->  ,  ->  etc.

I knew they existed becuase of Kanga's pouch.
Plus, I think every pokemon should have a baby in thier evolution line.

No, that wouldn't be good, I mean, then there would be
Beld --> Beldum --> Metang --> Metagross, and some pokes are genderless like that (even thogh I have loads of Beldums froom breeding my Metagross), also, that would go past the unrecorded rule of having only up to 3 stages. Ok, I'm done.

Well, IIRC, the games came out before the Johto season came out, so I had to teach myself about the generation. Needless to say that baby Pokemon weren't shocking, but more of a cool thing.
As a side note, the fact that I beat Gold and Silver a bunch of times before the show came out is a big reason why I stopped playing/watching Pokemon up until late August of this year.

I didn't knew that those pokemon above evolve until I saw the Jhoto Pokedex. They were kind of confusing.

I never really got to see the shows, but I heard about babies from a friend of mine and then I got gold and a handbook at the same time--so I was never really surprised.

It will hatch as ANY of the baby pokemon, and will know Dizzy Punch. If it hatches, it will either be shiny, or have DVs of all 0.

I think this makes their evos stronger. I mean, a Pokemon that evolves three times is an eensy bit stronger than a Pokemon that evolves twice or not at all, right?
