I try to trade in a Raichu that has all the moves rather than an Ampharos, although in my first GSC game in Gold, I did use an Ampharos and it was exceptional...

Better tell Amphy about this one.
I like a lot.
I am using it in my current Colosseum team, but I will probably replace it with when I catch it.
Also, is this a good moveset?:

Female
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Light Screen
Body Slam

Pretty good moveset, Scizorslash.
Ampharos is really good. I use it in my Crystal Team on computer. It is my 7th fave Pokemon out of all of them.

I perfer standard electric poke,
@Leftovers
BB or Body Slam
Attract
T-Bolt
T-Wave
This also works well with Raichu, that is if you didn't breed to get Sweet Kiss and you can't get HP Ice/Water/Grass.

Probably why I tend to use Ampharos is because there are too few Electric types that you can get relatively early on in the game. I was looking for the option "he's ok and i do use him" but this poll doesn't have such an option ^_^

HP means hidden power. The type and base power of hidden power is depended on the Pokemon DV's

When you catch a Pokemon it has certain DV's make its element and power. It is random, so you may have to catch many pokemon to get the Element and good power that you want. For more info check this site out:

I think Ampharos is a great pokemon. I think I remember my cousin using Thunder and Ice Punch against me. Kept me on the ropes for a while, but I never underestimated another Ampharos since. For shorter words, they are cool.
