Hey ho-oh have you seen my GSC one?
Ho-oh @ Leftovers
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
Earthquake
Recover
Still I think Lugia would KO Ho-oh easily.

EQ Is super effective against Electric, Steel and Rock. Though I perfer my standardish set.
Lugia@ Leftovers
Aeroblast
Psychic
Earthquake
Recover
It may not cover as many types but it works well.

Ehh....well if I can still make a vote I say Ho-Oh because of its powerful attack moves such as Sacred Fire. However, I'd say against each other Lugia would win, being more defensive and Aeroblast most likely crushing it.
Aeroblast looks a lot cooler in battle than Sacred Fire BTW.....o_O

I personally like Lugia better. Don't get me wrong, Ho-oh is a great pokemon, but I found a great substitute, Charizard. And besides, I have Silver version, I basically am a lugia adept. Only bad thing about Lugia is that it can be overpowered, which can give less fun when trying to use other pokemon.

My brother had Silver long before I had Gold, and we loved his Aeroblasting Lugia (note, I was a n00b then. But Aeroblast is still a fairly good move). So originally, it was Lugia, and that's who I voted for. I used Ho-oh sometimes (Sacred Fire! ), but I liked Lugia more.

Lugia's better. Ho-oh is just another cooler Moltres, but a legendery Flying/Psychic hybrid was new. Besides, I find Aeroblast pretty cool too.

IT LIVES
..sorry folk ive been doing tests at school coupled with severe mentel physical and emotional screw up of a 15 year old ive not been here in ages.
yes aeroblast is a good move but in a show down ho-oh vs lugia aeroblast would do little damage (flying) and ho-oh's sacerd fire would help with the hole burning stab lugia having no resistence so ehh

<font color=ACEACE>I just did a test on the Damage Calculator. Here is what I did:
I first used Lugia as the attacking Pokemon, I entered it at level 100 with 306 attack Power (max attack power) and 306 defense power (max defense power) for Ho-oh at level 100 and the attack was Aeroblast, I would also just like to say, Flying to netural against Flying not 'not very effective'.
It's max damage 129
I did the same thing though Ho-oh attacking. Ho-of max special attack power is 350 and lugia's max special defense is 447. The attack was Sacred Fire.
It's max damage was 101.66.
As you can see Lugia's Aeroblast does more damage on Ho-oh than Ho-oh SacredFire on Lugia. Also Aeroblast has a high chance of Critical-Hit, then it would do a max damage of 249. On anything else Ho-oh's sacred fire is probably better than Lugia's Aeroblast though, when facing each other Lugia is clearly dominent. Lugia OWNZ!

I think Ho-oh may also like Ash, since it did appear to him in the 1st ep.
I also thought I heard somewhere Lugia helps control the sea. Wonder if and both do something for the sea.

I like ho-oh better... cause i like fire.. but Lugia seems more useful to me... and yea Ho Oh pops up in a lot of things... i noticed hes in the first episode... why is it that Ash sees all these pokemon but cant catch none -.-

I voted for Ho-oh!
Because of its Sacred Fire Attack! Although I don't know what Sacred Ash
(the item it's holding) is used for. Everytime I try to use it, a message
pops up saying "There's a time and place for everything" or something to
that extent.
I don't know which ability it has.
But wouldn't it be great if it had Serene Grace!!!
Sacred Fire: 50% chance of Burning + Serene Grace: 2x Added Effects =
A Sacred Fire that Always Burned the Opponent!!! Nice!!!
