Without any specail events?
What's the percentage on that?

I think it's 3% on one and 2% on the other, I don't remember witch one's surfing and what one's flying. It's really hard to get.

Oh. Thanks

IV's can't be changed. =(
And it's ridiculous to figure out what you have unless you use an Action Replay to view them.

This might be of some help to you =)

You have to catch the right Pokemon or breed for them, because they're set in stone as soon as the Pokemon joins you.
The MOST extensive IV guide I've ever seen is on smogon.com.
Sorry to deviate away from Psypokes, but theirs is just the bees knees and I highly recommend using it if you want to use Hidden Power.

I have a question
How the heck does finding the right Pokemon on the Pokewalker work?
Is there some simple trick to it that I haven't gotten yet? Or what?

Like, it'd be really cool to find a Staryu on Beautiful Beach.
It's listed in Group A as being found 60% of the time after 5000 steps.
...
What does all that mean?
I read something somewhere about only one Pokemon per group being found on each walk... is that true?
How does that work?

yep from what i seen one of each of the ! is only one pokemon for each trip in there
the three changed each time i went back in
and for some reason my soul silver only catchs girls and my heart gold only boys
the longer you wait to catch the better
the pokemon
i dont start anything till 10000 plus steps
and the higher level pokemon the better watts found
i have a level 100 in there and it always finding 50 at a time
when i have a low like 20 lvl it only finds 20 once in a while

got many many hard to find pokemon

but i use it for the item finder thing
got lots of moon stones
star pieces shards berries

Does anyone have a Surfing/Flying Pika yet?

Do the look any different? It would be cool if flying pika had a cape...

I'm pretty sure when you breed, the IV's either increase or stay the same.
But I'm totally not good at it, so I probably shouldn't have answered this.

Sorry to disappoint, but they look the same.
I wonder if the surf board / balloons show up in Battle Revolution.

Lucky Egg multiplies by 1.5 as of Gen IV.

And I'm pretty sure Exp. Share does the same.
I know for sure it gives 50% to something that hasn't participated in battle,
so I think it's safe to assume it adds that 50% to the exp gained in battle if it does participate.

A couple of questions...

1) Could someone post a list of where the Weekday Siblings appear? I tried searching the Psypoke guide, but the mentions of the Weekday siblings got lost in amongst all the other text... maybe it would be a good idea to have a separate list of Freebies, telling you where to get free items around the world, and when they become available.

2) I know you can get items by using Rock Smash on breakable boulders. However, what are the chances of finding an item in the rubble? And if you do find something, how common are the items you can find? (Rock Smash now needs a guide similar to the Pickup Guide, I think.) Also, what are the chances of finding a Pokemon when you use Rock Smash?

3) I posted a guide to the Voltorb Flip Game on this forum. But can we have one on the main site, in the HeartGold/SoulSilver section? I may be good at the game, but it's driving other people insane...

1)
Mon, Route 40, Sharp Beak
Tues, Route 29, Twistedspoon
Wed, Lake of Rage, Black Belt
Thurs, Route 36, Hard Stone
Fri, Route 32, Poison Barb
Sat, Blackthorn City, Soft Sand
Sun, Route 37, Magnet

1) 2) & 3) I agree, these should totally be posted in the HGSS section...

I have a question. Are fossils available ingame or do you have to trade fossil Pokemon to HGSS from D/P/Pt?

You find them from Rock Smashing. I don't know the % though... sorry.
What I DO know is the chances are super-slim, because you probably won't even find an item, let alone a fossil.
If you're better at Underground hunting for them, then you should just trade them.

Ruins of Alph
Helix Fossil HG
Dome Fossil SS
Old Amber both

The Cliff Cave
Claw Fossil HG
Root Fossil SS

You buy it in the Battle Frontier.

They probably figured that because of the Battle Frontier, you would just get sick of other trainers to fight.
But gave you the option with the Pokegear phone.
(I think it sucks, too. You could always Amulet Coin the Elite Four?)

cheeselover! wrote:

As soon as you beat the E4. =)
There's not a big deal about it, you just kinda wander in and they're like,
"Hey! We're open now! Glad you figured it out all by yourself!"
