It is an idea worth exploring, but I don't like it too much.
I may be wrong for saying this, but Suicune was the mascot for the second generation because everyone loved it. It never really made sense to me, actually; sure, it's a legendary dog but does it actually have any powers? Is there a reason for it to be running around the continent while its brothers stay in one place? The gameplay, in actuality, is Gold/Silver with a dog running around and finding you once in a while.
Not really. This is why in HG/SS, all three dogs run around the continent a la Latios/Latias/Cresselia/Mesprit.

It's the same with Mesprit, actually, why does it run around? The only reason I can think of is because of its personality, but that's not such a great reason.

The GenIII and GenIV third-games were really well crafted, in comparison; they involved the third pokemon IN THE STORYLINE, and these had the power to calm the other two down. That third pokemon is a better plot device than something only tangentially related, like Suicune.

Nah you ain't wrong about anything...I just gotta accept that repitition of sorts in the pokemon series & it is still selling alot so whatever this & that & blah blah! lol...you made your point that post Lightshayde...I just hope the "game" has the concept of my time of day idea which I will gladly give to them without asking anything in return if they even needed it from me anyway...

what would happen, probably something that would get it either get it banned or...something that would make it sell really well, though the later is less likely to happen...I can't even think of what the titles would even be for the games based on life/death...

Nintendo always seems to avoid death of any kind... The closest I've ever seen them get is Paper Mario Wii, and he just got a 'game over' type thing.

Jade & Crimson seems to be the only complete suggestions for titles I have seen...I didn't even come up with anything...
