No, it won't. Shiny parents do not increase the likelihood of a shiny baby.

JsX's reply pretty much answered your second question. The chances of getting a shiny baby are the same as finding a wild shiny. Since it takes much longer hatching eggs than encountering wild pokemon, you are pretty much wasting your time.

If you want, magikarp has a fast hatching and breeding time and if you have a pokemon with magma armor or flame body, halves the time so you'll have to wait like about 1/25000 chance or something like that.

It's 1/8192...which is still a lot. Still, if you have the patience, go for it

Well if you want shinies go for legendaries/starters that you can merely reset the game and try again and again, the problem with breeding is that it takes some time to hatch an egg, and you have an even chance of finding one randomly.

Another Question:
If I see a legendary, say....
And its not shiny, if I saved write before, then I turn off my game, can the be shiny?
Can you tell if it is shiny before you enter a battle?
Thanks

your 8193 pokemon is not guaranteed to be shiny 1/8193 just how likely it is you will meet a shiny you can catch 9000 pokemon without meeting a shiny (but you'd be very unlucky)

It's impossible to tell before the battle starts if it's shiny. You have to find out when the battle starts. If it's not shiny, reset until it is shiny.
The shiny value is set once you talk to it.

Alright, thanks.
I thought it might look black and yellow (like in my sig) before you battle it.
Again, Thank you so much!
