Is there any way to influence whether the pokemon in the daycare like each other or not? Or is it purely random?

I know they have to be in the same egg group to produce an egg at all, but I meant is there a way to influence what the day care dude says about them that says their chances, i.e. "They don't seem to like each other" or "they seem to get along." I probably should have said that in the original post.

I just cycle past lots and eventually I get an egg.
I don't often listen to what he says, but when he does they usually don't get along but I get my egg all the same.

There are 2 ways: having the same species, having different ID numbers (of original trainer)
If you have both..."They seem to like each other very well", 70% chance of getting an egg every 256 steps
If you have one..."They seem to like each other", 50% chance
If you have neither..."They don't seem to like each other", 20% chance
If they can't breed..."They prefer to play with other pokemon than with each other"
BTW, the quotes from the npc may not be 100% accurate, but they're close.

wel I think what he means is if the daycare man says "they don't seem to get along very well" he would like to know if there is a way to improve that to somthing like "they seem to get along" etc.
and the awnser is no. how much they like each other is determined by the original trainer id number. The only way to change that would to get other pokemon but there really is no point since you will still get an egg as long as you follow the breeding requirments.

Anorith's breeding info
Lileep's breeding info
Just click on the "compatable pokemon" drop down menu to see all of the pokemon they can breed with.
Note, you need to have a female anorith/lileep if you are breeding with a pokemon other than ditto if you want to get another anorith/lileep.
