So where do you people train yours? I like to train spec. sweepers in wayward cave. Haunter=spec attack golbat=speed. You can also level up them with the LV. 60+ POKEMON  .

Phis. sweeper in the grass patch right above resort area. Pinisir/Weepinbell/Nuzleaf/aridoes/trainers salamance or mightyena=attack, voltbeat/illumse=speed.

Edit: sorry I meant resort area, not safari zone....

I train my Special Sweepers in the Resort Area and my Physical Sweepers with the fisherman west of Sunnyshore. The one with the 2 Gyaradoses.

For Attack, I fight Gyarados by fishing them up with Super rod in Victory Road.

For Satk, the Golducks in the Resort Area.

For Speed, I surf in Victory Road for Golbats

Nice spot, and if you even better, you can use the small lakes in Celestic Town. You get Gyarados, Corphish, and Crawdaunt. The only Pokemon you'll need to run from are the Whiscashes, which pop up rarely.

Well the thing with Victory road is, that once you finish training for Atk with Gyarados, you just surf for Golbats for Spd. So those are the only 2 pokemon that you fight and encounter with almost no traveling.

True, and I guess if you're only fighting Gyarados, it makes thing more consistent.

for special sweepers i train on the water in the resort area. with pokerus you get 4EV for each golduck, and with the speed power item you get 8EV for speed. after 31.5 golducks swap the speed power item for the sp att item and finish off another 10.5 golducks. (obviously you have to think of something to do for the .5's)

I go to the resort area for attack and special attack. Surfing in the lake there's 100% golduck for special attack, and right above resort area is a lake full of gyarados for attack. For speed, I attack pikachu and staravia in the trophy garden. For defense and special defense, I train on the pelipper (defense) and tentacruel (special defense) in the lakes right in front of the elite four building.

Actually, it's (2EV+4PwrItm)*2Pkrs=10EVs, so your pokes are trained wrongly.

For Special Attack, I either train at the Old Chateau (If my pkmn is low-leveled) or resort area (if it's above lvl.40).

For Attack I use Route 212 (i believe...it's the rainy route below pokemon mansion), where Kricketunes and Bibarels (+2 Atk each) appear.

For attack, I train east of the resort area, where fishing with a Super Rod gets you Gyarados 100% of the time.

That's really the only one I've had to deal with so far, because I've been REEEAAALLY lazy.

Neither of those places have speed.....

I found a new one! :D It's for both though mostly spec. sweepers because rosilia appear more often.

The trophy garden, with a high leveled pokemon you just plow through them and ev up quick. Pikachu/Pichu/Staravia=speed, Roslia=spec. attakc and (if you bother to go there at night) Kricketune=attack. Also you occasionally run into mansion pokemon :P :D :P .

if you need speed, try route 201 with the pokeradar. You can find Starly (1 Spd) there (and Bidoof also). With pkrs + Power Anklet, you can easily max Spd EVs there.

6x2=12

not 10

Cuddles is correct and he is ev training correctly.

Not to mention (2+4)x2=12, not 10...
He was fighting golducks, so the 4 goes to special attack and the 8 goes to speed.

Doesn't pokerus work first? I noticed when fighting Magikarp:
My Porygon-Z(I forget level, but it leveled when training it on Golducks) killed 6 Magikarps against some fisherman with Pokerus+Power Anklet, which by your equation would be 60. I gave it four carbons, which should be 100EVs(the limit to vitamins), and can't accept more carbons, but it went to 6 carbons(120 EVs?).

But even with my theory of (1*2+4)6=36, would mean it should have received 7 carbons rather than 6. I'll test this out later when I feel like it.

No, pkrs does not work first. I have trained several sweepers by battling 26 each of Atk/SpA and Spd pokemon, then received the Effort Ribbon.
