Energy Ball, Psychic, Surf, and Flamethrower are all 100% accurate, right? i'm pretty sure i've had each one of them miss the target at least twice without any accuracy-reducing or evasiveness-increasing move being used. am i the only one who's ever seen this happen?
btw, i'm pretty sure there aren't that many trainers in the Battle Tower having their Pokemon hold Bright Powder, so i'm sure that's not it.

Actually, that is the cause. Brightpowder, or possibly Sand Veil w/ Sandstorm.
BT trainers also like evasion moves quite a lot.

yeah, it really must be bright powder. man i hate that!!
on a related note, i once got the shock of my life. in the emerald battle factory, my opponent used ancient power on me and MISSED i know i didnt have bright powder, and i definitely didnt use any evasion moves. i dont know what could have caused it. hmmm.... actually, it could have been hustle - it was probably a corsola with hustle. ok, dont worry about me
but yeah, in the battle tower, there is PLENTY of bright powder going around. by the way, are we talking the in-game battle tower? or the wifi battle tower?

I read somewhere that accuracy for all moves that have an accuracy stat of 100 is actually closer to 99.6%, but I'm not entirely sure about this. Also I haven't played PD properly so really I don't know about all the changes that have been made since the last generations.

i think in the OLD games, "100%" meant something slightly less. but its not now - 100% is 100%.
and yes, the in-game battle tower is full of hax items - focus bands (and sashes now), bright powder, quick claws, etc.....

also, I think that Nintendo haxxed BT comp luck - yesterday, 2 pokes got Focus Band twice in a row (out of 21 battles), which is unlikely - 1/8 chance for it to work once. So maybe they also have a higher chance of Brightpowder activating.

I doubt it; BT IS full of |-|4)((Hax) Though, but the thing about the BT comp luck; Let me tell you something. Each move is one slot in the game; you'd have to recall that memory, something that with all the memory they used up in DP's data, would be impossible. That's not true, period.
