...used at a Pawn shop. I finally got to the 3rd gym, and for the life of me cannot beat this guy. It takes forever to get Magnite (please forgive me if I cannot spell the names-right now I'm only half awake), then I get Voltorb taken down, but then I totally lose it at Magneton. Right now my team consists of:
Makuhita-lv. 17
Swellow-lv. 33
Geodude-lv. 7 (actually just added this one)
Shroomish-lv. 18
Torchic-lv. 16
Gulpin-lv. 15
Now I know I need to level my other Pokemon up, but really, which one is the best to take out the Electric Pokemon? What are their weaknesses?
Thank you so much for your help!

Geodude is the best since it is immune to Electric attacks. I suggest to train only this one because I believe it can solo Wattson easily.

Evolve Torchic into Combusken, and level it up some. Then, use Ember on Magneton and Magnemite (it'll be super effective.)
And yeah, train Geodude some more.

Train the Geodude until it learns Magnitude. It'll finish Wattson off in no time.

I finally got it after my Geodude learned Magnitude.
However, in Fire Path, how do you solve the puzzle? I try pushing the boulders, and can't get anywhere.

Do you have the Gym Badge that allows you to use Strength outside of battle?

Have you tried the Psypokes main Site Walkthrough? It helped me really great.

Beat the Lavaridge Gym and get the badge enabling Strength on the field and then move the boulders around and if you get stuck run away and come back so the boulders reset themselves.
