My 'current' team (I mostly do BT to get TMs for any new projects) is (Double Battles):
Charizard (Modest, 6 HP, 252 Sp. Att, 252 Spd.):
Heat Wave
Dragon Pulse
Ancient Power
Air Slash
Togekiss (Calm, Can't remember the EVs... Level 96 important stats are 303 HP, 321-ish SP. Att, 308 Sp. Def, 224 Def., 198 Spd, can't remember Att)
Air Slash
Aura Sphere
Magical Leaf
Ancient Power
Heracross (Jolly, 6 Sp. Def, 252 Att, 252 Speed)
Megahorn
Close Combat
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Gardevoir (Modest, can't remember evs or stats...)
Psychic
Energy Ball
Thunderbolt
Shadowball
They don't have items yet, though they should... I just never get around to equipping them (and going through the huge list of items all the time).
I'm at 35 wins so far (first time with this team). First 2 in combat are Charizard and Heracross.

that looks like a nice double battle team mcdevious! i dont really have a proper double battle team. maybe ill think about it sometime. here's my single battle team. this got me 100 win streaks at the battle tower in emerald, sapphire, and now pearl.
@ choice band
jolly | intimidate
EVs: 252 spd, 252 att, 6 hp
earthquake
aerial ace
brick break
rock slide
@ chesto berry
docile | pressure
EVs: 252 def, 200 HP, 32 spd, 20 sp att
calm mind
rest
surf
ice beam
@ leftovers
calm | natural cure
EVs: 252 def, 252 HP, 6 sp def
thunder wave
softboiled
aromatherapy
seismic toss
the movesets might not be the absolute best since theyre their original 3rd gen moves. salamence now has an enormous range of alternatives available (stone edge, dragon claw, zen headbutt, crunch, fire fang, thunder fang) - i might have to think about a team with 3 choice band salamences (just kidding).

Mine is not too great but it does win against the idiots at the battle tower, so... I'm also not sure of EV points/haven't EV trained these Pokemon
Blastoise @ Mystic Water
Dig
Ice Beam
Hydro Cannon
Surf
Gengar @ Shell Bell
Thunderbolt
Sludge Bomb
Shadow Ball
Dark Pulse
Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Again, they may not be the BEST, but they'll be enough 'til I finish EV training my Gallade and 2 other Pokemon I haven't decided on yet.

One thing I noticed from Battle Tower (when I go through it, anyways...):
Every pokemon and their mothers have a fighting move (usually brick break) and rock slide. As such, I tend not to bring Tyranitar along anymore... Too many one-shots and I didn't have a focus sash at the time.

Killdozer (Mamoswine)
Jolly @shell bell/salac berry
6HP, 252 attack, 252 speed
Azelf
Modest @Wise Glasses
6HP, 252 sp att, 252 speed
Cresselia
Serious @leftovers
160HP, 250def, 100sp def
Cresselia has a weird EV spread, but it works well. 101 subs ftw! Also, Calm Mind ftw!

i beat the 100battles with this team
SALAMENCE, adamant (252 atk 252 speed) @ focus sash
-EQ
-Dragon Dance
-Rock slide
-Dragon claw
BLISSEY, bold (129 hp, 129 sp def, 252 def) @ leftovers
-seimic toss
-t. wave
-softboiled
-toxic (poison or paralyze, depending on opponent)
TOGEKISS, timid (252 speed, 252 sp atk) @ kings rock
-nasty plot
-air slash
-aura sphere
-roost/shadow ball
togekiss has 70% of flinching with kings rock, therefore i almost killed all the trainers with it.

your right but thats the whole point no one would expect it to
know a move like that..
plus for some reason my Pikachu's Attack stat is higher than its Special Attack.

well, pikachu's base attack is higher than its special attack, and that is pretty weird if you ask me. (raichu's att and sp att are identical though and a fair bit higher than pikachu's.)
unexpected moves arent really useful unless you can actually do a bit of damage. ok, you might be able to hurt an aggron, but probably not enough to KO it before he earthquakes you.
