i know that the best way to catch these guys is a master ball, but getting three master balls is no easy task. so, i was wondering if there was a really good alternative to master balls to catching them (mesprit, uxie and azelf) oh, and i know how to deal with mesprit running away, its just the catching part i need help w/, like i said

well after masterball the best ball is a dusk ball. what i did to catch uxie easily was just put out a dark guy since all his moves are psychic. be careful though because futuresight will hit you, its not very effective but it hits. as for azelf nasty plot makes him quite strong and since he has uproar as well as psychic moves putting out a pure dark wont be enough. of course if u have sableye or spiritomb its a different story otherwise u just wanna paralyze them, hammer away at their life, put out ur strongest guy to take the hits and throw dusk balls like there is no tomorrow. it took me three tries to get azelf and one try for uxie. good luck

Two methods I found helpful.

ONE:
Get a level 55+ with False Swipe. This attack will ALWAYS leave the enemy with 1 HP at the least. False Swipe them to 1HP, Put them to Sleep (Yawn, Hypnosis, Sing are all good for this), then bring 40 or so Dusk Balls, and start chucking.

TWO:
Bring a level 50 - 55 Psychic pokemon with 2 Psychic moves, and Recover (Kadabra/Alakazam w/ Psychic, Psybeam, and Recover is what I used) and use the Psychic moves over and over until they have next to no HP left, put them to sleep, then start chucking said large number of DuskBalls.

The easy way out is to trade for MasterBalls, and use them.

SAVE before you fight them. if you run, or kill it, they're gone forever.

its not that hard to get masterballs just gwet them through a GS or a AR

If you run from Mesprit it will show up again elsewhere. Don't bother using Repel to find it, if a legendary appears in a route you'll have about 90% chance of encountering it.
If you deal damage or status conditions to Mesprit and it runs, it won't heal the conditions.
The same thing goes for Cresselia - I have to admit I used hacked Master Balls because of my extreme lack of patience. But don't worry, you should do fine.

im new ti this game, and im catching them now. for the two that dont run, use dusks bcause they are in caves, but from what every1 else has been saying, it sonds like they are better than ultra balls in normal conditions(?). i havent got round to catching mesprit yet,but i will soon
