Who is the better dragon? Salamence or Flygon?

Hmm...thus,

Flygon is a ground-and-dragon type, making it invulnerable against electric but more vulnerable against water and grass...

I would say Salamence because he has a better set of moves whereas Flygon has really only got EQ

i would go with salamence just because of offensive stats and learnable attacks

Flygon is cooler, but I've used both and Salamence is better. I have a Spec. Sweeping Sally and it owns the last four E4 members in a heartbeat. That includes the Ice trainer. (I traditionally use my first RSE pokemon ever, my lvl 96 Swampert, to kill off Sidney. Go Cake Mix the Swampert, lol)

salamance is the strongest and quickest pokemon and it can lower the enemys attack by 1 stage and it dont take damage from ground moves its a multitalent in thats what i call it

If you dont raise Flygon WEll enough, you'll find it a weak monster compared to salamence, but if you can raise it well it can prove to be useful,i still prefer flygon though

like most said, slamences stats are hecka high.. it shouldnt be about looks, so go for salamence if you want to go for gold.

your not going to be fighting with the Trapinch are you? Trapinch is something i worry about, it's got a handy skill but is too weak to catch stuff with and doesn't work on flying runners, Anyway... if your going for looks, Salamance looks more threatening.

I have to say Salamence because it has waay better stats (Mence has a 15 higher base HP, 35 Atk, and 30 SA but they share the same Base values for the rest).

I see your point, but the reason Salamence (and some other OUs) are used so much is because those are some of the best pokemon. Slightly off-topic, but I've been lurking around and just observed that psypokes is the only site that lists Salamence as having belly drum (I know the breeding chain and all, but the status os Salamence getting BD as an egg move is in question). Has anyone truly tested for this in-game/wifi?
To my knowledge, none of Shoddybattle, Netbattle, Serebii or Smogon have any positive input on whether or not Mence gets Belly Drum... |

Huh... well, I implicitly trust the Psydex, and I just checked the exact chain; as far as I can tell, it should work, but of course, I don't really have the patience to try it out; I rarely breed ANYTHING, even for my own use. _________________  |
